We are a family-owned local company that provides outstanding service for area rug deep cleaning (includes complimentary pick up), carpet, furniture, drapery, tile/grout, air duct CleanSeal, dryer vent, and hardwood floor cleaning. We also provide disinfecting using electrostatic sprayers that can be accommodated for same-day service. Other services include power washing, window cleaning, general house cleaning, water damage restoration, furnace puff-back cleaning, and more. "I absolutely do NOT recommend Hydro Clean!! To make a very long story short, Hydro Clean improperly cleaned our dryer vent when we moved into a new home. Not only did they cause a major fire hazard, we ended up being out over $1,000 between their services, technicians to fix the poorly performing dryer, and eventually replacing the dryer, only to discover the problem was Hydro Clean's incompetence! Despite what we were out, it took months of me trying to contact the higher ups for them to eventually only refund the $99 we paid for the dryer vent cleaning. The check stub says "poorly cleaned dryer vent." That poorly cleaned dryer vent created a fire hazard in our home with our children and my non-mobile parents plus the time and cost of trying to get a working dryer. The company is incompetent and has terrible customer service, after creating a dangerous situation, I would never allow them in my home again."

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.  

Before starting on a full refinishing project, determine if your floors need to be completely sanded down to the bare wood or if the damage is shallow and mostly cosmetic. Deep scratches and gouges will require you to rough sand using a drum sander or belt sander, but small surface scratches or floors that have only lost their luster don’t need a complete overhaul. Instead, you can skip the rough sanding step and sand-screen the old finish with a buffer, removing only the top layer of polyurethane.

Floor polishing isn’t technically necessary, but it will help your floors last longer and hold up better to scratches. Floor polish is a thin coating that fills in small abrasions on your floor and makes them less visible, and it can act as a protective covering that prevents future damage to the floor underneath. Floor polish helps protect against water and moisture, so it’s a great service if you want to extend the lifespan of your floors. Additionally, polish makes your floors shine, making your home look cleaner and more inviting.

You can mop bamboo floors, but exercise caution to protect the material from excess moisture, which can seep into the bamboo, causing it to warp and well. Moisten a microfiber mop and wring it out until it’s just damp, or use a pH-neutral cleaner, as this will prevent damage to the bamboo fibers. Avoid harsh chemicals, like traditional floor cleaners. After cleaning, wipe the floor dry.
