"I hired John Caruso of Stoned Masonry and Construction in Newton, MA to replace a trench drain in my driveway. He provided a detailed contract and requested a $2000 down payment for the $4000 job, which I provided by credit card in an online transaction. He acknowledged receipt, and said he would begin work in one week. During that week, I tried to contact him by text, phone, and email concerning his request to leave materials in my garage before he began work, but received no reply. I repeated these contact attempts to inquire about his arrival time the day before and the day of his promised arrival. He never responded and he never arrived. My credit card company will try to recover my money, but I strongly advise you not to hire this person. If you do, definitely do not giver him an advance payment by check!"

"This was our first big remodeling experience and we are happy with the space. They understood what we wanted out of the end result and they made some recommendations that we hadn't thought of. We appreciated that the project manager gave us some suggestions on flooring and finishes that were within our budget. They handled town inspections and changed things that we requested after the fact. A couple of minor details could have been improved that we didn't notice this until we started using the space. Communication could have been a little better when it came to letting us know when workers would be arriving at our home. George and Matt were great to work with and we would definitely recommend Nedder properties to others"
