Dennis and his partner produced a very high quality tile job, cutting and installing lovely but difficult stainless steel + stone backsplash. Effect is terrific. I am 100% satisfied. As prior reviewers have documented, Dennis was on time, on budget, very professional, budget-friendly, and neat/clean. I would gladly hire him again in my home.

We had a botched shower tile job from our general contractor that we
needed fixed asap. Not to code, horrible cuts, etc. I called Dennis as
recommended by a friend and he was a lifesaver! He responded
immediately, squeezed my job in and always showed up or called when he
said he would. He then removed all the tile the other guy installed
incorrectly and redid the underlayment to code. His work is impeccable -
joints, cuts, grout are all perfect. He's clean and doesn't leave a
mess. A professional, courteous guy and amazing at his trade. I will
always call on him when I have tile jobs I needed done.

Dennis was great to work with. He's a professional and paid great attention to the project. He arrived on time, submitted the estimate the following day and scheduled the work. The project was done exactly as he outlined in his proposal. He is a master at his trade. We are completely happy with the work that was done. I would recommend his work and would hire him again. Very pleased.

Dennis completed the job in three days. The first day was demolition of the existing floor. The second day was tile cutting and the third day was grouting. After the first day he noticed the subfloor had a bit of a dip and reccomended we reconsider the way we wanted the tile to be laid. We wouldn't consider laying it any other way and he agreed to follow our request. The result were FANTASTIC. He spent extra time making it level and flush. I am very impressed with his quality of work. I would use him again and reccomend.

We contacted David after finding him on Angieslist. He came out to discuss the job with us, show us options, explain everything he would be doing, how long it would take, etc. We had already purchased the mosaic tile. He grouted a small block of tile with a couple different colors so we could decide which color grout we wanted to use. He emailed us the quote 2 days later, then came in 4 days later and installed the tile which took about 4 hours (about half the time he had thought it would take). He came in the day after that to grout which only took a couple hours and collect payment. He was meticulous, polite, clear, punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, low-key, personable, patient with our hemming and hawing, did not smoke and the end results look terrific.

Dennis came over initially to give us a quote. He then came promptly to do the work on the date scheduled and the project was finished on time and on budget.

I interviewed a number of tile installers before deciding to use Dennis Smith. His price was not the lowest, but he came highly recommended by the tile store, so we decided to hire him. The project took 2 days from start to finish and entailed installing a tile backsplash in my kitchen. Dennis also sealed the tiles before and after grouting. Dennis was extremely meticulous, patient, and detail-oriented. He was kind enough to pick up the tiles for me from the store and also passed on his contractor discount to me.
