I called the Complete Septic Service for the pumping of my septic tank. We agreed upon a time, and he showed up on time and ready to go to work. Dave, connected his pumping pipes together after digging to access the tank, and then pumped the tank empty. He then packed up his pipes etc... , and refilled the hole he had dug to access the tank opening. He was done in about an hour, and left no trace that he had been there, except the place he had dug to access the tank. The area he used and refilled was back to being intact and graded to the surrounding lawn. His professionalism is to be commended as is his the quality of his work, and the reasonable price he charged. Thanks Dave

I called the company, and heard back from them with in an hour. They were able to come out to my house the next day, and he was able to locate and dig up my tank within 30 minutes, and only charged me and extra $30. He was also very informative about how my septic system works. I would highly recommend using this company

l heard about Complete Septic Service from a friend. When I called Dave, he responded quickly and came out and determined the problem promptly. Once the pump chamber was dug out and pumped it was determined the current electrical configuration was all oxidized and rusted (causing the pump to short out), in addition the riser and the cover were broken. Dave and Jason worked extremely hard to get the riser out and managed to to so in a professional and timely manner with very little digging involved. After the new riser and cover were ready to be installed the electrician came in and rewired the pump correctly and installed an air/water tight electrical box. After the box was installed and verified everything working they installed the additional riser and cover. After all work was performed the area had little to no disturbance which was extremely nice to see. Dave cleaned up everything and the lawn now looks like it was never dug up. I would highly recommend Dave and Jason's company to anyone that needs septic work. The level of professionalism and work ethic this team far exceeds many other spetic companies I have used in the past. In my opinion they are the best septic company around

Dave went way beyond what was expected for a normal Title V inspection due to the depth of my Septic tank. He was thorough and professional. I would recommend Dave and Complete Septic to anyone looking to pump their tank, complete an inspection or make repairs. Excellent service and fair price.

Excellent service from start to finish. Dave arrived on time and got right to work. He was readily able to find the pipes from the Title V map I had from our closing on the house. He pumped the system and then installed the riser - sleeve and new cap, then replaced the dirt and sod. I would definitely use his service again

"I contacted them with my problem on 6/19/20. I didn't need an emergency call over the weekend. They agreed as well. They told me that they would show up on 6/22/20 as I knew they were trying to squeeze me in. They showed up sooner than expected and completed the job and gave me recommendation on toilet maintenance. Would use then again. Prices were reasonable. Prompt and professional business.

"My experience with this company and its owner went great. Communications going through Angieslist didn't work perfect but after calling him direct, communication was prompt and great. As far as the work he did, it was very thorough. He started in the basement and worked his way back to the sink to find where the clog was, and this wasn't to extend his visit as this was all within the hour of arrival. It's the milking of the billable hour which is why RotoRooter will never come to my house again. John gets A's for communication, performance and price. As I told him on the way out, he's now my 'go to' for this type of work.

"Over the phone, I was clear that I wanted the flashing around one particular vent pipe repaired (on the back, left corner). I was also clear that I did not want to replace the roof. The contractor angled to persuade me that the roof needed replacing. I neglected to get a written estimate before agreeing to the work. On the day we agreed to have the work done I told the contractor that I could not have my wife there to let the workers inside until 1 p.m. He indicated that he thought the workers could arrive earlier to set up. There was no representative of mine present when the workers arrived to vouch for their time. As it turned out, my wife was only able to be at the house at 3 p.m. to let them inside to inspect the attic spot where the vent might have been a problem. They did so, and were done by 3:15. When I received the bill, the estimate below was quoted, indicating a charge for 4 hours of work. I called the contractor and expressed concern that this amount of time seemed excessive, given that I was fairly sure that I only wanted the vent flashing on one spot replaced. He indicated that he charges for the workers' time spent driving from Pelham to the site (one half hour each way), the time spent going to the store to buy materials (when he had earlier indicated that he thought he would be able to find a few shingles needed to repair the small area around the flashing), and time spent inspecting the entire roof. He also indicated that there were two roof vents (when there is only one). Although I conceded the transportation time as part of his bill, I questioned whether this job took 4 hours for 2 workers to accomplish; having had similar work done on my other house by a different firm years ago. He agreed to review the work and then offered a reduced price, which I paid, mainly to be done with the whole experience.
Replacing a drain field requires digging up quite a bit of land and involves a decent amount of testing. Using this guide, you’ll learn how much it costs to replace a drain field based on a few key factors such as size and type of septic system.
Live green and save cash: Conserving water, composting and using fewer harsh household chemicals not only helps planet Earth – it’s good for your septic tank.
Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.
How often should a septic tank be serviced?
Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.
What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?
Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.
How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?
Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.
How much does it cost to install a septic system?
Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.
How long does a septic system last?
Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
