Kerry was very friendly and answered any questions we had. Even more, hedid all the work himself, He approached the job extremely well, planning carefully planning the line of the fence and post placement. This included setting the fence line to avoid a manhole cover on the property edge as well as ensuring the post spacing was evenly done for all sections. He took the fence down in long sections, so that he was able to re-enclose the backyard with the new fencing each day. This helped keep any hungry deer out while he did the work. And, of course, he was very careful around all the plants, as well as making sure any existing landscape (rock border) was replaced so well you couldn't even tell it had been moved. While the cost may seem high (we didn't get quotes anywhere else as they came highly recommended), it was well worth it. They arrived on time and made a plan: the big bucket truck had to be squeezed between fence & shrubs on the last level ground before the steep slope. The chipper was unhitched & parked then they got the big truck across the yard avoiding trees& plantings, rigged & started work in about 15 minutes.
They got it down & cut into <2ft lengths; repositioned the chipper & cleared the brush. They also trimmed the top & vines from a rhododendron were too tall & getting on the wires. They were gone in a few minutes less than 3 hours. They were pleasant, efficient and careful.

Paul Miskovsky is simply truly exceptional, and all my expectations were exceeded. Paul is not a landscaper, is an artist. He uses plants of different sizes and colors, earth, and stone to create the most amazing product, so pleasing to the eye. His art is in symbiosis with nature, using...

This company was communicative, and although busy came as soon as they could given the time of year and how late we called. I will say it is expensive- the only drawback- but I enjoyed the added service of clipping down the plants in my perennial garden. They seemed to know plants, and...

Best tree service I have ever hired. Showed up for quote quickly, did the job within a week. Cleaned up the property and since this was a large tree expected to have a lot of damage to plants in nearby garden and not one thing was destroyed . Would recommend Nick and his crew.

I wasn't home when they planted it, but according to my spouse, they didn't make the hole bigger than the root ball, or loosen the roots which had been in the pot for years. I trusted them on the advice of a friend, but the tree was dead in less than two years. I sent pictures and asked...

Estimator arrived on time, spent about 45 minutes finding out what I wanted, measuring the yard, and inventorying vegetation. He sent me a detailed drawing and a contract a couple of days later. These showed what he proposed to plant where and what the cost would be. He told me approximately...

"You can't get better than Wally in terms of quality, professionalism, and consistency. He removed all the sand in our yard, filled it with loam, spread seed, and built a brand new stone patio. He took the time to explain everything to us and ways to improve the project, but NOT for the cost. He helped us save money every step of the way. For example, he showed us where water was pooling and how it needed to be diverted away from the patio, which he did for no extra cost! He showed up every day, all day, until the tasks were done and beyond perfect. You can’t believe the time, effort, and care he puts into these projects. He genuinely cared that we were happy and cares about his reputation. This care is evident in the quality of his completed projects. He’s also just super nice and a pleasure to work with!"

"I initially left a message for another company, but Bresnahan called back. They were prompt and after repairing the initial malfunctioning back flow preventers worked on other zone repairs. Early on I was quoted $95./hr for work + parts. I subsequently discussed wanting to see where the bill was and again went over the hrly rate, which was $95. per worker! I asked for an estimate on the remaining work but the owner said he couldn't do that and that his rates were in line with the industry. Take home message is get a full estimate before starting, since our project ballooned to $6,000. and is not done."

"To be fully transparent, I went into this “adventure” with naive trepidation.
But with Jeffrey’s guaranteed assurance on design & quality, and his professional install team, we had a fantastic 21/2day project experience from start to finish.
Very pleased with putting/chipping green result.
Besides adult fun, my future PGA /LPGA grandchildren love it!
A favorite addition to our friend & family fun.
Highly recommend Grass 365! "

FAQs for plant watering projects in Sagamore, MA
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Lawn irrigation is the process of getting water to your lawn, grass and all, for it to grow. There are five main types of lawn irrigation methods:
Manual irrigation puts you in charge of the flow of water. Using a sprinkler head on your hose is best to evenly distribute the water across your entire lawn. This doesn’t take much time but requires you to be physically outside holding the hose.
Above-ground sprinklers attach to your hose and rotate or oscillate around your lawn. Since these are above-ground, they’ll need to be moved when it’s time to mow, and depending on the size of your property, you might need to move it around your yard for full coverage.
In-ground sprinklers are flush with the ground when not in use but pop up above the ground level when it's time to water the lawn. Piping for these sprinklers is all found underground, and there are different types of sprinkler heads for different uses and lawn sizes.
Drip irrigation involves drip lines that are more efficient than sprinklers for more extensive lawns. This involves a lot of digging since they are installed underground, but it makes it easy for you to mow.
Rainwater collection and irrigation uses nature’s precipitation to water your lawn. This option might not be available in every area since semi-reliable rainfall is needed, though the barrels for this system can range from 15 gallons to 10,000 gallons or more.
The cost of a lawn sprinkler system is $2,550 for the average homeowner. However, this price can range from $350 to $5,000 or more, depending on the type of sprinkler system you install, the size of your yard, and the type of sprinkler heads you choose. For example, rotating or oscillating sprinkler heads are more expensive than stationary ones, making the cost for one sprinkler head $2.50 to $30 each. Likewise, a yard that is 1/4 of an acre in size averages a total average price of $2,460; however, a one-acre yard averages a cost of $9,840.
Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:
Location
Yard size
Project size
Materials
Land preparation
Type of landscaping
Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000.
