"Alan Taylor is a horrible professional to work with. We hired him as an architect for our project and regretted it bitterly. Alan caused numerous delays, exploiting the fact that we simply were dependent on him once the design was approved by Boston building department. Each interraction with Alan took forever and his endless requests to get directly in touch with various committees, professionals working on the project, were absolutely not necessary, exclusively justifying Alan's overbilling. I will give 2 examples: my son was scammed out of $11k when he maid a payment to Alan, who then insisted that it was not him giving the bank info for money transfer, but hackers of his email. It took my son 4 months to get the money back, thanks to his bank, with Alan demanding a full payment over and over again, which resulted in almost 6 months delay. At the final stage of the project,while preparation of the condo association documents, Alan had to prepare as is building plan. One does not need to be an architect to realize that 1 site visit for measurements and max a couple of hours to review the engineering plans and add 8 annotations should not take 2.5 months and be billed $3680. I would strongly encourage everyone to stay away from this person."

"Pedro and his team were excellent. They were professional and timely, hard-working and meticulous, and trustworthy. Best of all (at least for me), is that Pedro is VERY responsive and his team is assigned to get your job done and done correctly. They show up on time every day, and were willing to work late into the evening to hit the project milestones. Pedro was 100% clear about the costs, and he made sure I fully understood the areas where the costs were not known or where the costs could possibly change. For example, he said, "If you open up this wall, I'm not sure what we are going to find." I told him to proceed and his team opened up that wall and found that the previous contractor had installed literally zero insulation. Pedro met with me, reviewed what his team had found, went over all of our options, gave me his recommendation, and only proceeded when I completely approved the additional work that would be done and the additional cost entailed. Pedro is a true partner and his team does great work. I cannot recommend them enough. My wife and I have already booked them for another job renovating a first floor porch and creating a roof over the open-air second floor porch."

"Evandson and his team are true professionals. They converted an unused space in our primary bedroom into an en-suite primary bathroom. The timeline proposed was 6-7 weeks and they completed everything including permitting and inspections within 5 weeks. The craftsmanship was top notch and we were extremely impressed with how clean and on time they were throughout the project. Evandson and his team had previously helped us finish our basement, which we love, and it was a no brainer to have him complete our bathroom project. We would recommend Evandson and EENN to anyone looking to complete any home improvement project, as our experiences working with them have been nothing but positive. Mike and his team proved highly collaborative and skilled in their respective trades while also involving us as active partners in design and construction choices. Being able to work with both Ivan during the design phase and then Mike during construction to make sure our design and budget needs were met proved invaluable throughout the year long process. Mike was always willing to hop on the phone to talk through design decisions or product selection as we were deciding on finishes throughout the process. He also was more than willing to discuss scope changes and refining of the original build plans as we saw those plans turn into reality. "The initial build went reasonably well. We did find problems which they did come back and fix. I noticed a railing support that was cracked. I was told that I must of done it, that was that. The plugs that cover the screw holes in the stairs are falling out. I looked for some at Home Depot, but couldn't find the right color. I still had Chase's cell #, so I texted him and asked if he could send me some plugs, and I would do it myself. No response. Tried again the next day, still no response. I'm not surprised. Aging the build was decent, price was higher than most. Now that nearly 2 years have gone by, and customer service should be anticipated, nothing. Never again."
