I was kept up to date as the work progressed. The workmen were courteous and willing to talk to me. Marcello sent me pictures as the job was finishing . The workmen cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis. The siding was done to my satisfaction.

Novus Exteriors resided my home (with James Hardy), replaced gutters and replaced my deck. Everything was discussed prior to starting and once they started, things proceeded quickly. If an issue arose, it was dealt with in a timely and professional fashion. The cost was competitive for the same product and process. I always felt comfortable with this company, like I was in good hands. My house now looks beautiful and have had many compliments. Would highly recommend Novus Exteriors to anyone.

Be very careful in hiring these guys. You may get lucky, but you also get really screwed. I was initially impressed with Marcelo and Eric and vetted them heavily before hire during a number of interviews. However, I am sorry to say that I felt completely scammed by them. Contrary to what they promised me, they did not have any actual workers on their payroll and everything was subcontracted out, the crew had absolutely no experience in the type of siding system that was specâ d, and there was very close to no project management or oversight at all. I made these three points central to my hiring process so I was very clear in what I was looking for. The â pre-construction meetingâ was just to find a sub-contractor to do the work and Novus conveniently left off many details in the contract resulting in the sub-contractors severely underbidding. I ended up having to buy a lot of materials on my own since Marceloâ s team just wasnâ t supplying the sub-contractors with the necessary supplies to keep the project moving. I spent close to an hour or two a day doing project management (Eric was always in â a meetingâ and too busy to come by). In the end, the sub-contractors did a great job (phew) but I was pretty nervous the whole time since Marcelo was constantly trying to get the full payment once only half the work was complete. I had to hold firm with the office bombarding me with demands of payment. Generally, if you hire them Iâ d recommend two things: they use an â integration clauseâ in their contract and as such EVERYTHING that Marcelo tells you will be completely ignored unless it is in the contract AND make sure the payment schedule is such that you wonâ t pay them more than 2/3 of the total cost until the project is *completely* finished.

I had a terrific experience working with Novus Exteriors. They were prompt, they were there when they said they would be there, and the work took about as long as they expected it to. When issues or questions came up (as will happen with any home improvement project), they addressed them promptly; and the final product â completely replaced siding the three large, exterior windows â looks terrrific! In addition, they were organized with billing and explained the billing/payment process well. My interactions with all of their employees, from manager, to the billing coordinators, to the crew chief on the job, were all very favorable. Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend them to other customers. Thank you to everyone at Novus!

Do not hire them! They left us without heat and would not call us back for three weeks. They used the cheapest materials. They make promises and do not keep them. We had to hire a different painter to redo their paint job in all our rooms and to finish staining the stairs and mantel. They did not level the floors before putting a new floor down. We are extremely disappointed in this company. At the final walk through we pointed out many problems and they just did not care. You will be sorry if you go with this company. Their plumber we found out did not even have a license. Half the time they did not even come with their own supply, they used ours. Horrible company, horrible job!

Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience and I have assigned our customer service team to be in touch with you, and according to our records we have an agreement in place where we have fulfilled all pending items."

Novus installed new Hardiplank siding, replaced several windows, repaired part of our roof and even facilitated repair of a rotting sill uncovered during construction. Their project manager, Eric, and the installation company were outstanding to work with, kind, responsive and completed the job with a high standard of work.

Novus did exactly what they said they would. They did it on budget. And they did it on time. Their work was excellent and they worked hard to be sure we were satisfied. They also did some â extrasâ which I did not expect. Additionally, they established a text group with entire team so we were all aligned during the project.

We hired Novus to replace the façade of a house we are opening a business on with Hardieplank Siding. Marcelo and his crew did an excellent job. They always kept us in the loop with the progress of the project, They always let us know if something was wrong that needed our attention, asking questions and authorization for any additional work / repair that needed to be done outside of the scope of the project. I recommend their work to anyone, and will hire them again if I need.

We hired Novus for a large job including siding & windows plus some exterior remodeling. They did a great job, the house looks terrific. They were very good about being in contact over email to answer any questions I had. As this job happened in the middle of 'covid times' there were delays due to different members of the team needing to isolate and test given contacts, but despite this extra stress they worked hard to get the job finished.

UPDATE 11/19/2020: Two months after my initial review, the job remains incomplete, SEVEN months later. Promising completion last week, the crew removed temporary railings before checking the materials were complete. A promised visit to verify materials has not happened. The workers were here last week to complete the job but the project manager did not realize the lighting required an electrician. So, I have had a week without any railings at all, and I slid off the deck (slick in bad weather) with my dogs. This is the review I wrote two months ago: The work that was completed was exceptionally well-done, however, FIVE months later, the project remains incomplete. There were some supply delays because of the virus, but the intolerable part is that the excuses are endless, the follow-up to inquiries is answered by promises to call which do not come. Too busy recruiting new jobs while the job is unfinished. PortaPotty sitting on my driveway for 5 months which goes entirely unused some weeks. It saddens me to give a harsh review because the work is exceptional and dishonesty is not my idea of customer service.
