We have no way to turn on the lights in our bathroom. These guys are affable and were responsive when we initially hired them to do the wiring for the kitchen. We then hired them for a bathroom renovation. On the day the wiring was to be done, an electrician showed up but he was rushed and said he was not going to do the job that day. A week or so later he did complete the wiring, and said he would return once the bathroom was finished (plumbing, drywall etc.) to do the final step - installing the switches and outlet receptacles. It took a lot longer than planned to complete the bathroom. When we did eventually contact them to install the light switches, they did not return our phone calls. We'd understand if they were busy and couldn't get us on the schedule right away, but they didn't even call us back. Other electricians we contacted were understandably reluctant to assume responsibility for completing the project LJ Grace began. We are left with a bathroom that is fully wired but with no light switches or outlets.

He had installed a new electrical service box for me a year or two before and I was pleased with the entire job.  I feel that I made it clear that I wanted all new wiring throughout the house.  It's an old house with foundation only under the living room.  From the first appointment, there were delays.  I would either get a phone call saying," sorry not today.", or a call several days later to make another appointment, with apologies.  He installed 1 plug with a wall switch in the living room, 2 recessed lights over the kitchen counter, and 1 new plug on the foundation wall in the kitchen.  This was accomplished over 4 months.  Then I found that he hadn't replaced the wiring, only patched into the old, cloth wrapped wiring.  I had wanted the work done primarily for safety.  The work that he had done had only added to the over usage on already over used lines, and I believe I was deceived intentionally.  I fired him in Sept. and did receive a full refund of my $3,600 deposit.
