Since the home’s basement primarily consisted of a giant crawl space, I was told Don would do the job. Ultimately, the day before the scheduled inspection, I couldn’t get ahold of Don. Bob said Don was “feeling sick,” so the job was off. Frustrating, but a blessing in disguise because we ended up going with Colonial Restorations (the home was built in the 1800s). "I had an experience with Neponset Valley Construction.  They did work about three years ago.  I would tell others that they're more for exterior jobs than they are interior jobs, the work is kind of shoddy.  The price was the reason we went with them. "

They assigned different contractors to do the construction work. One of the contractors said that the job was too big and that they could not do it, which was fine. I respect that. The secretary stated that she would try to find other contractors to do the job. The owner came and walked through the house and we spoke about what needed to be done in the house. I did not feel confident in his contractor because he seemed that he did not know what he was doing. I wanted him to do one specific thing. The owner wanted to take down the whole wall. I just wanted to reopen a small section. I started to feel like they were pushing me. For those reasons I felt uncomfortable and did not go with them. The quote was detailed.

The technician came out to see the crack in our basement wall, explained to me how to remove more sheetrock so he could do the job, and made an appointment to do the repair. He was exactly on time for both the estimate and the repair. Once the repair was complete, he gave me tips on repairing the sheetrock.
