"Gaby helped us remodel our kitchen. We wanted to keep our existing custom cabinets but modernize the appearance. Gaby transformed the look from a country style kitchen to a more modern, crisp design by: -extending the cabinets about 10” to the ceiling, and adding molding and trim work -replacing faux legs in our island and cooking area with clean edges -building custom decorative panels for the island and columns -removing a cabinet to make room for a beverage center -countless repairs and fixes Gaby also coordinated painting - both the cabinets and the ceiling/walls, and painted over 50 cabinet doors/drawers himself. The painting turned out absolutely beautiful and professional - as if the cabinets were white from the beginning. He also coordinated many of the other jobs, including recommending an electrician for us who was also very reliable and professional. In many ways, he acted like a GC for us in addition to a carpenter. Can’t say enough about Gaby. He is an outstanding, meticulous carpenter. He knows his stuff in and out. He is reliable, prompt, efficient, reasonable, and goes above and beyond to deliver amazing results. "Moises Carpentry & Painting did an excellent job! He is a true gem! This job involved some outdoor work repairing woodpecker damage and other bird damage to our window frames. He quoted a fair price and arrived right on time. Instead of just patching he removed the sections of damaged molding and custom cut replacement molding to match the existing sections. Then they came back the next day and painted the new molding to match. They worked hard and efficiently without drama and did a thorough cleanup at the end. I give them my highest recommendation!"

"I reached out to a number of contractors on Angie's List, as well as to another contractor (not currently shown on Angie's List) with whom I'd worked in the past.  Billy Neary was the only one who called me back very promptly and he agreed to meet me at my apartment very early the following morning (before I had to be at work) to scope out the job.  Within 24 hours he provided me with an estimate and he and his partner showed up to do the work three days later, exactly when he said he'd be there.
The repair, which involved a fair amount of detailed finished carpentry, was beautifully performed within a couple of hours.  Moreover, because he was able to salvage some of the existing hardware, he charged me less than his original estimate.  Throughout, Billy was exceedingly professional and a pleasure to work with.  I would engage him again without hesitation.

"We had a fantastic experience with this company. Joe (the owner) was responsive, constructive, easy to work with, and reliable, and he did very high quality work. We had a quite extensive basement finishing project (finishing about 50% of a previously unfinished basement) that involved planning the use of the space, adjusting the plumbing organization to accommodate the bathroom we wanted to put in, installing electrical circuitry, installing the bathroom, rebuilding the stairs, installing a substantial network of soffits to enclose ducts and plumbing, and of course installing all the drywall, flooring, finishing etc needed to complete the space. Throughout the project Joe stayed in touch with us about plans and choices, and was flexible about accommodating our preferences while also giving us sage advice based on his (extensive) experience. He started on time and completed the work in line with the expected schedule. Joe did much of the work himself but he also brought in other specialists as needed, on schedule and with minimum fuss (plumber, electrical, etc), and he handled interactions with the town inspectors effectively too. He even helped us with some issues elsewhere in the house that came up while he was working on the basement, and came back to help us install some decorative items that we ordered but did not arrive before he officially finished. We are extremely happy with the end result and use the space almost every day. Anyone who sees the space is also very impressed. It's a wonderful addition to our home and exactly what we hoped for."

"Mr DeVaux did an excellent job on the finish carpentry work, painting and staining on a stain glass window frame install in an existing wall. The mitered corners had no gaps. Even though the job requirements changed somewhat there were no additional charges. I plan to hire him again on additional projects."
