"Flores contacted me same day as I did my search for tree services. They also went above and beyond to tackle the job which may have been more work than anticipated. Very professional, arrived exactly on time, very respectful of our property. Flores Farm Tree Service will be our go to company whenever we might need tree work again."
"“Early bird gets the worm” applies to this tree service. He called from out front of our home and gave a very reasonable estimate! The work was done and he was on his way in no time flat! We’d recommend him to anyone."
"We were delighted with the work done by Kelly Brothers. Within three days of our initial contact with his company, Noah had come to our place, and walked our property with us to answer our questions, and make recommendations based on what we wanted. We had an estimate three days later, and and the amount was about half of what he had expected. The work was completed exactly as we had requested. Best of all, it was completed in less than three weeks from our first call to Kelly Brothers. We will certainly use this business for any future projects. We recommend these young men highly!"
"Dan is the consummate professional. He performs his tree work with a cautious expertise while taking care of the needs and concerns of his customers with graciousness and patience. You will be calling Dan again and again."
"We had a rather large pine tree lake front obstructing our view We did not want to remove it but just wanted it professionally trimmed back. Casey did an excellent job. Now we have great, clear views of the waterfront. He showed up on time, was very professional and cleaned up the entire area."
"John and his crew were exceptional. Professional and friendly. They took down trees. Cleaned the area and extended our yard. The transformation was amazing. I would highly recommend their company. Neighbors on our street were so impressed by their work they immediately hired them for services. We can not thank them enough for what they did for us. Also the were exceptional people. Cheers to John and his crew"
"I had hired Southern Berkshire Tree to remove 6 white pines out of my backyard without easy access to the yard and I could not imagine there being a better tree service in the county. I had hired another company before sbts to remove one tree, and they destroyed my yard and had to get 12 yards of dirt to repair it. But with Scott and his crew it was low impact to my yard with no damage at all. Great communication before, during and after the job was done. Cleanup was superb and beyond what one would expect. Not to mention the price was comparable to other quotes but may not get the quality from others. Highly recommend them!"
"Worth the money; GREAT job!. Very personable. And I truly liked the way he seems to CARE about any concerns or thoughts regarding the job to be done. I personally feel you will NOT find another tree service willing to work with your financial needs. You will NOT get a better price Highly recommend N.A.G. Tree Service"
Generally, you’ll want to prune back the trunk by 1 to 2 feet each year to promote bushy growth. Doing so concentrates vegetative buds closer to the bottom of the tree, where you can easily harvest fruit. For side shoots that are a year old, leave at least six leaves.
Never remove more than 30% of a tree’s foliage during pruning—even if your tree is really overgrown. Removing this much foliage at a time could kill your tree.
Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.
It’s not always easy to tell when a tree is dying, although signs like dropping branches and brittle bark can sometimes offer clues. It can also be difficult to know whether a tree is dead or dormant, especially if it’s a deciduous tree. You’ll want to wait until a growth season to get a good idea of a tree’s health. When in doubt, contact an arborist for a consultation.
In general, trees should be planted no closer than 15 to 20 feet from your foundation. For larger trees with far-reaching roots like maples, oaks, or poplars, a good guide is to plant as many feet from your home as the tree’s height is expected to reach at maturity. Some trees, like elms and willows, should only be planted far from where their roots may encounter sewer or water lines.
Ensures complete removal and mitigates risks of underground root damage.
