"I tried calling several other companies but they didn't get back to me in a timely manner. Derrick called back within an hour and set up an appointment for the same day. Once he tested the system it was clear that the pump and tank needed to be replaced. He changed the pump that day (Monday) and said he would return at 9:30 on Wednesday to replace the tank. He arrived right on time, replaced the tank, gave me a complete explanation of what had been done and the warranties on the pump, tank, and labor. The only thing I might suggest is that he should discuss the estimated cost of the project prior to doing the work and give a more detailed breakdown on parts and labor. Overall I'm very happy with his work and have no hesitation in recommending him and his company."

"Dave from Calzini's Plumbing and Heating got me through a hard time when I couldn't get anyone else to provide service on short notice. As a landlord, I had to replace a hot water heater for my tenants as soon as possible. I had to shut the water off and they were extremely upset about it. The only one that responded and came out right away was Calzini's Plumbing. They arrived within an hour and were out within an hour after with everything functioning perfectly. It was in the evening so couldn't get a permit that night. Dave from Calzini's arrived early the next morning to have a permit pulled and all was good again. Unlike regular cleanings, snaking your sewer line should be done as needed. There’s no reason to snake your sewer line if you don’t have any noticeable issues, like slow drainage or plugged drains. You can add it to your regular sewer cleaning checklist as a prevention method (on the same 18- to 22-month schedule), but it’s not always necessary. 

If you leave liquid drain cleaner for too long, it will start breaking down your drainpipes. The chemicals in these cleaners can cause cracks, corrosion, and leaks in your pipes. They can also damage plumbing fixtures and even cause environmental damage if left too long without rinsing away.

Your home has a few telltale signs of a sewer line problem. If you notice multiple plumbing fixtures (toilet, sink, or shower drains) appear to be clogged, call a plumber ASAP.
