"We called Ranieri Construction because a combination of ground settling and a sloppy repair made our concrete pool deck not only cracked and uneven, but also unsightly. Lou Ranieri explained that they couldn’t fix the cracks as they were, but would have to remove the filler from the first repair, grind down the uneven surfaces and stain the whole surface to achieve an even color. Once the plan was in motion, Andrew Ranieri worked tirelessly to grind down and level all the surfaces – this man is a definite perfectionist and the even surface is better than we ever thought was possible. A skim coat was applied and, once hardened, the whole area was cleaned and stained. It’s beautiful! We can’t say enough about how diligent Lou and Andrew are in their, often backbreaking, work. Once completed, the work area was left spotlessly clean. This is the type of company all should strive to be – a company where work ethic, integrity and the correct way of solving a problem are paramount. Thank you, Ranieri Construction! You're the best!"

"It was a pretty good experience. They were pretty good. There was a little bit of a misunderstanding about the scope of the work between the estimator and the actual installer but we worked through it. I would recommend them. They did a pretty good job."

"Great results. Our house has a challenging setup and the work was not trivial, this was a situation where experience made the difference, cutting through concrete blocks and sill plates to run wires.

"Jon and Bo were excellent. They immediacy reached out to me upon getting my quote request and came within the week and the job was completed the next week. They did a great job and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I would absolutely recommend and plan to use them for my next project."
Beautiful Lennox chandelier hung at the edge of the dormer to center on the table..... Looks great!!!
The dark Family room is now well-lit, the addition of four recessed lights and a light package for the existing fan worked wonders!!!
Recessed cans are installed with the utmost care to not damage the ceilings to accent the walls and beautiful collectibles
This beautiful bedroom addition only had one switched receptacle to control a bedside lamp! Now they have plenty of light and cool air with their new recessed cans and ceiling fan

"I called at 8pm on Friday he was here 7:30am Saturday morning. We moved in and found out our well was no good and that we needed a new septic system. Plus some work inside that we knew about. We called a few places just to get prices because a lot of companies try to take advantage of people our age and when I tell you he showed up gave a price a lot less than what the other companies gave and told us what needed to be done not what he wanted to do unlike the other places. I would highly recommend him and his crew I already have a few of my neighbors loved the guys and came and asked for there number good luck Christopher with your company and thank you from the bottom of my heart"

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

While often confused with an endless pool, an infinity pool features a slim outer edge to trick the eye and create the appearance that the pool blends with the sky. An endless pool, on the other hand, is a small pool with a propulsion system that allows swimmers to swim against a current. These two types of pools have similar names but very different designs.

While you can save some money by digging your own pool, you may end up paying more in construction equipment rental fees in the long run. You could, however, focus your DIY energies on lowering the cost of leveling your lawn for your pool or filling in surrounding landscaping after construction.

Most of the time, though there may be some code variations on the local level, a water source like a pool requires a GFCI breaker. These breakers detect electrical leaks of 5 mA or more and trip the breaker. However, the size of the pool and motor type determine the exact GFCI needs. A GFCI outlet with a reset button may be enough for an aboveground pool with a small motor or pump. Consult a pool electrician to determine the appropriate installation and protection measures needed for your pool.

The steps to fill a swimming pool will depend on your local building codes. However, it starts with draining the pool of all water using a submersible pump. Then your pro will lift the pool shell from the ground or break it into pieces for individual removal. The next step is filling the cavity with dirt and gravel and topping it with topsoil. Once a structural engineer deems the site safe, landscaping can start.

It depends. Your pool might need chlorine every day if the water is exposed to direct sunlight and you use your pool frequently. UV light and constant use will deplete chlorine levels more rapidly. Test your water regularly to see where your levels sit and adjust accordingly. Generally speaking, most homeowners need to add chlorine following a water chemical test about one to three times per week.
