"This company was atrocious from start to finish! My fence was installed in 2022 and it's practically falling down and coming apart. About 6 months after installation, the fence was was leaning 2-3 feet as they dug the fence post holes about a foot deep! My fence was only 6 months old, still under contract warranty, and the owner screamed at me for waiting so long to tell him there was a problem! His 6 guy team of goons literally laughed in my face telling g me there was little they could do to fix it because it was made out of wood!! The other side of my backyard has a 40 year old wood stockade fence that is still standing and looking perfect! The fencing they used is completely subpar. The wood is already rotting and the slats are warping so bad the nails are coming g out! Ive had to fix the crooked fenceposts many times using steel post reinforcements (which are expensive) because the holes they dug were so ridiculously shallow. Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

If you’re trying to keep your dog from running away, an electric fence isn’t the only fence type for your yard worth considering. The cost of dog fences can range from $1,500 to $8,000, with popular materials including wood, vinyl, or aluminum to keep your pet safe and sound.

If you’re trying to keep livestock in their pasture, other fencing options include woven wire, high-tensile wire, and synthetic fencing. These options give your animals boundaries without the use of electricity.

A fence gate can sag for a number of reasons. It often happens if the hinges are damaged or if the hinge screws are loose. Gates can also slump if the supporting fence posts start to lean or come out of place. This means that fixing a sagging gate is often as simple as tightening a few screws or upgrading the hinges.

While picking a standard chain-link fence might be your first instinct, that metal can easily rust over time, making your space look not-so-great. Black chain-link fences are a simple and affordable way to fence in an area of your yard and are also less prone to showing rust than traditional galvanized steel chain-link fences. Plus, black chain-link fencing is a more unique option that can look very striking and elegant when installed properly.

Regularly check for rust, tighten loose bolts, and remove debris buildup to extend the fence’s lifespan.

The best under-gate dog barrier is one that extends to the ground. This effectively keeps dogs in and won't give them room to squeeze through. However, dogs that dig can still get under the barrier. Deter digging by paving the ground beneath the gate or filling it in with rocks or gravel. Be careful using wire to extend dog gates, as the sharp ends may cut or hurt your dog's paws.
