I think that they helped to install a new ceiling fan. There were no troubles with scheduling. One technician came out to complete the work. Everything was fine.

It went okay; unfortunately there were some problems with the work  and they had to come out too many times for my liking.

The service provided was good. We had them come back and do some more work later. They kept in touch, they came when they said they were gonna come, they came on time and they were very professional.

It was excellent; he was on time and professional. I ended up having a problem with my electric after he left, he came right over and fixed it and did not charge extra.

It took a while to get the appointment together, but when we got it scheduled everything went well.

The guys from JJL Electric were fast, clean, and polite.  They showed up on time, and were knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions.  They did a good job, and several months later, I remain satisfied with the work.  My only difficulty was in the initial outreach and scheduling - it took a little while to connect with the office and make an appointment.

It was fine.  There were additional charges and it went over their time limit because there were some extra things we had them do.  I don’t remember how much extra we paid though.  The ceiling fan works great and they gave us the answers we needed.  There was nothing wrong with the service.  I just contacted them the other day for some other work.

These guys were amazing. I had a huge list of "homeowner without a clue" issues, and they took them in stride. Not only fixed everything, but showed me what didn't need to be fixed (user error!), and educated me in the process.

It was excellent. They had to hook up to the existing electricity that was in the wall and run a new wire. They did a very good job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They made several visits and it was great; he was fantastic.

I had purchased 2 hours of electrical work. Since they sent two men, it meant an hour of two people.  I had some additional work done and paid for the extra time.  The biggest task was putting a new light in the living room ceiling: it required drilling holes in the bracket from which the light hangs.  The other work was much smaller, chiefly replacing outlets.  I honestly don't remember all the details.  The did install an extra outlet in my basement and remove wiring from a now-removed hot-water heater.  They were perfectly good and competent, but I'd rather use someone closer to my house: they're at least an hour away.

I'm afraid I have a couple of negatives, as well as positives, to report. We had an appointment scheduled for the afternoon but apparently the electrician left our area (Burlington) and didn't remember until he was back in N. Attleboro that he still had our job in Burlington. He did turn around to come back at rush hour (which was quite responsible of him), but  I wasn't informed until he was halfway back. Had I known, I would and should have rescheduled (but felt bad because of all of his travel)-it made me late for a commitment.
The electrician is knowledgeable and personable and was able to fix the wiring issue (a hall light that only worked  from one switch - he fixed it  to work from either upstairs or downstairs switches). It did, however, seem to take a long time to ascertain what the problem was.
Our other issue was a bathroom heat/vent/light unit with no heat. He established that it needed a replacement part and perhaps did check into exactly what our cost would be. But when I called JJL Electric to follow up, I spoke with the an employee on the phone and I didn't receive a call back from the electrician to get the information and schedule another service call. There were approximately another 15 minutes of our 2 hours of contracted time left. He said he regularly works in our area and because of his original schedule mistake, wouldn't charge for return travel time.
I never did hear back from him- maybe this was a miscommunication on both our parts(?). As I said, he was polite and seemed knowledgeable, but the bathroom heat is still broken.

I had paid for two hours of work. first got my porch outlet checked and working again...then tackled why my doorbell had suddenly stopped working. I live in an old bldng with 2 condos..  wires in basement were a mess,  some tests worked, some not..he called boss who came over and worked with him for several more hours, determined to figure it out. Turns out the system was a mix of old and new wiring and finally determined that my neighbor must have had some work done on their bell and someone had just cut some wires in all the mess..unfortunantly they happened to be mine. I told them to send my a bill for the extra time but more than a month later I have not received one.
They were very curtious and persistent. I am very happy to a working doorbell again.

It went well. He arrived on time and finished everything as asked.

A bit time consuming to get the appointment scheduled, but very pleased with service on site. Good communications, went out of their way to see if our ancient attic fan could be fixed, sent materials on where to get replacement unit.

James arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Went to work straight away, after checking out the situation. Was very professional. No
question from us was treated as too trivial. He happily accomodated our last minute request to change the position of the light and covered the existing hole on the vinyl siding. When he finished with this project, he asked if there was anything else that he could check on while he was there. We had him check our existing fuse box and a couple of other things that checked out just fine.
How refreshing not to get a high pressure sales pitch. Curtious and Extremely professional.

James, the office manager did the work. He was very polite and was very knowledgeable. He told us we could solve our problem of overloading a plug in the bedroom by getting a power strip. He advised strongly against ever using cube taps, explaining that they 
are  very dangerous fire hazards (. After James left we. removed all the ones we had in use in the house.)  James worked very quickly on the change-over of the outlets. and the switches.  The diagnosis of the problem in the ceiling light was  left up in the air because we were unablle to get the correct part for him to make the repair, but we expect to schedule him to come back to make the repair at a later time.  We were very pleased with the amount of work that J ames completed for the Big Deal  and we feel that  he is a very good electrician.
