"Quick Haul was on time and very efficient. They removed all unwanted items and even helped disassemble some items for removal. I would rate them as very reliable and willing to go the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied with their work. They even came out to haul things away when it was snowing! That's DEPENDABLE SERVICE"

"After months of hemming and hawing and getting quotes, I finally went with Hollywood Junk to haul away my old washer and dryer. I m so glad I did! They gave me the best price and could do it the next day. Then when the weather started looking bad, they contacted me and came to get them early - the same day I called. I was able to get my car in the garage before the snow came. Steve was super nice and professional. I would use this company again in a heartbeat."

"JImmy was very respectful and quickly quoted and picked up the junk that needed to be removed. Had a friend use him as well, and he actually dug under leave to get junk that was buried for no extra cost. She was also pleased."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

They provide efficient waste disposal, comply with local regulations, and handle large debris safely, reducing environmental hazards.

Environmental considerations include preventing leaks, avoiding soil contamination, and ensuring proper disposal of all tank materials in an eco-friendly manner.

Pouring chemicals down the sink or toilet is a bad idea. In large amounts, they can damage plumbing and septic system. Tossing them in the trash can cause leaks, harmful fumes, and other problems, too.

Pouring chemicals onto the ground or nearby storm drains is also not recommended. Toxic chemicals can leak into nearby plants, lawns, or even water sources. It’s also illegal to pour out certain substances like used motor oil. Instead, schedule a trip to a local dropoff site for household hazardous wastes. Most local government websites can give you information on where to dispose of these substances.

Your contractor should handle dust control during the project. It's best to speak with your contractor beforehand to check if they plan to cover your furniture, protect your vents, or use fans to redirect dust. Eliminating drywall dust is a particularly large challenge during construction, so always take this into account during your planning phase.

Charcoal that contains lighter fluid or other additives is considered hazardous waste. Natural lump charcoal with no additives is not considered hazardous waste, although it is a flammable material. Burned charcoal that is reduced to ash is not considered hazardous waste and can be disposed of in an appropriate container in an outdoor trash barrel.
