Excellent. Could not have been more pleased. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Not only was John (the owner) very professional and pleasant to deal with, but so was his entire crew.

I needed a low cost moving company to move from Lowell MA to Nashua NH. I saw their trucks around and looked them up on Angies List. Decided to use them given their great reviews. I was not disappointed!
The owner took my information over the phone and gave me an estimate. It was just a one bedroom move. The price he quoted was $520. They showed up on time with three men and a truck. We started at 7am and were done by 11:30. At the end, the final price was $40 less than his quote. There was no damage and the whole move could not have been smoother. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

This review is long overdue. Though the move was two years ago, there is no doubt that I would use City Haul if I needed to move again and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a mover. I did not do any sort of a cost comparison with other movers because a friend recommended these guys to me so I went with them. Not only did they earn their money and then some on the first day (we had so much more stuff than even I realized), but they held our entire home in their truck overnight, got us another truck for our storage unit and had everything in and set up within just a few hours on move-in day. They worked so well with my family getting all of the furniture to the right locations and setting up things exactly how we wanted them. We even had trouble setting up our entertainment center because of some parts that WE misplaced and the owner had both trucks searched thoroughly and even called us the next day to check and see if we found the parts. Whether or not their rate was competitive (I feel it must've been because they worked so hard, I felt like we jipped them!), I would not use anyone else if we were to move again. They moved my sister to her new house last year and they were fantastic again (a much easier move than mine).

City Haul was great. While there was a bit of a delay getting our initial estimate John held the date we needed with no obligation until he was able to get out to the apartment to complete the estimate, so we knew that if we liked the price they would be available.

The crew showed up a bit earlier than anticipated and got started right away. They were quick to get things loaded despite the three flights of stairs they were dealing with. Once at the new house they were even faster and had us unloaded in about half the time it took to load.

We didn't have any issues with anything being broken and were very cautious with the heavier, more breakable boxes. They were very respectful of each space, trying very hard not to track in any snow/wetness despite my telling them not to worry. They were also very willing to move things around and made sure that boxes and furniture were put where we wanted.
Overall we had a great experience with City Haul and would consider them if we needed movers in the future.
