"We contacted DiOrio Builders to get a price on a dormer and rear-addition. They called me later that day and asked me to send them the plans. Dennis and James came out to meet us and take a look at the house later that week. They were both easy to talk to, down-to-earth and not at all “salesman” like which I appreciated. I was impressed at how responsive they were to my initial inquiry and the short amount of time it took from outreach to sitting down and discussing the project. I was clear with them from the start that we had a budget we were limited to and they were understanding of that fact. Within a week from our initial meeting, James came out again to sit down and go over details of the plans and the options available to us. After that meeting, James was in touch every few days with updates from what they were hearing from their subcontractors. In the end, the cost of doing the work was more than we can currently afford. James took the time to break-down the costs and was patient with us as we discussed our options. While we did not go forward with the project at this time, I will be sure to contact DiOrio in the future when we have saved more. They were upfront about the entire process, kept us in the loop the entire time and were very pleasant to deal with.
