"Alan Taylor is a horrible professional to work with. We hired him as an architect for our project and regretted it bitterly. Alan caused numerous delays, exploiting the fact that we simply were dependent on him once the design was approved by Boston building department. Each interraction with Alan took forever and his endless requests to get directly in touch with various committees, professionals working on the project, were absolutely not necessary, exclusively justifying Alan's overbilling. I will give 2 examples: my son was scammed out of $11k when he maid a payment to Alan, who then insisted that it was not him giving the bank info for money transfer, but hackers of his email. It took my son 4 months to get the money back, thanks to his bank, with Alan demanding a full payment over and over again, which resulted in almost 6 months delay. At the final stage of the project,while preparation of the condo association documents, Alan had to prepare as is building plan. One does not need to be an architect to realize that 1 site visit for measurements and max a couple of hours to review the engineering plans and add 8 annotations should not take 2.5 months and be billed $3680. I would strongly encourage everyone to stay away from this person."

"Very easy to work with in terms of responsiveness. Reasonable pricing but the craftmanship itself is phenomenal. This is my second project with him and I will definitely be using him for any projects in my house moving forward. He is really good at what he does. By moving the laundry from the basement to the second floor was not easy because I didn't have a lot of space to do it and several people said that we can't do it but he's the only person who made it work and it's beautiful. It's perfect. It's exactly what I was looking for. His knowledge and his craftmanship is phenomenal."

"Evandson and his team are true professionals. They converted an unused space in our primary bedroom into an en-suite primary bathroom. The timeline proposed was 6-7 weeks and they completed everything including permitting and inspections within 5 weeks. The craftsmanship was top notch and we were extremely impressed with how clean and on time they were throughout the project. Evandson and his team had previously helped us finish our basement, which we love, and it was a no brainer to have him complete our bathroom project. "The initial build went reasonably well. We did find problems which they did come back and fix. I noticed a railing support that was cracked. I was told that I must of done it, that was that. The plugs that cover the screw holes in the stairs are falling out. I looked for some at Home Depot, but couldn't find the right color. I still had Chase's cell #, so I texted him and asked if he could send me some plugs, and I would do it myself. No response. Tried again the next day, still no response. I'm not surprised. Aging the build was decent, price was higher than most. Now that nearly 2 years have gone by, and customer service should be anticipated, nothing. Never again."
