Mass Stump and Tree Removal opened its doors in 1965, by owner Peter Tankis. Peter truly enjoys his work, he is an extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and hard working man who has been climbing and caring for tree’s in the Blackstone Valley area and beyond for years before opening his own company. Peter has two sons by his wife Judy Tankis, Nathan and Jordan, who he has been passing his extensive knowledge in fine tree care to for many years. Nathan has been working with Peter since the early 90’s and is a very knowledgeable and a skilled arborist. Jordan has been full time with the company since the late 90’s and as well as his knowledge in fine tree care, he is also a skilled climber and bucket operator. Judy has also played a large role in the company since its inception. From answering business calls to book keeping to providing meals and caring for the work crew on a daily basis as if they where family. Peter has built his business on the grounds of outstanding tree care, customer satisfaction and safety for his workers and clients alike.
