"These guys were fantastic. We had replaced our kitchen tile without using Angi’s two years ago. They did a terrible job, not lining the tiles properly, not grouting properly, and they didn’t remove the issues at the base of the tiles, so overtime our tiles were cracking. The contractor had promised us he’d come back to finish the grouting when he left in Friday, but asked for payment. New homeowner mistake, I paid him. He never responded to my messages after that. ALV came in the same day I posted on Angi’s, gave a reasonable quote, and then bought the tiles we were looking at the next day. 3 days later, the project is complete, the grout finished, everything looks fantastic. 10/10 would use these guys again."

"Duoc was a pleasure to work with. I initially hired him to fix and replace floors at my parent's house. He refinished some existing wood floors, matched and installed new hardwood floors, and his uncle installed some luxury vinyl tile in the bathroom. He did such a wonderful job that we also hired him at our own newly purchased house to refinish existing and install new hardwood, and again his uncle installed tile in our entry. Not only was I expecting him to refinish my hardwood floors, I was asking him to come in and work miracles to repair the damage done by another contractor who had a damaged machine created wavy distortions to my floors. Lou made them look beautiful again! He was very honest about what he could and could not make perfect and his work always exceeded my expectations. Lou was careful to keep his work area very clean, cleaned up after himself daily and protected my other living areas by sheeting off the rooms he was refinishing. The final finish is so beautiful, with four coats of satin urethane, I think they look better than the factory finish. "The project went as scheduled and at the quoted price. This work included the removal of existing carpeting and the installation of oak hardwood floors in six rooms (approximately 1,600 square feet). My prerequisites were for the installation to include mahogany border / inlay wood in a great room to match the existing border in the dining room, and the undercutting of the baseboard versus the quarter round used by many other companies. This inlay included a double interlocking square pattern in the middle of the room. The design and installation came out beautiful. The four bedrooms upstairs were completed over two different periods allowing for us to clear out two rooms at a time and letting the three coats of polyurethane to properly cure. The upstairs had an existing hardwood flooring in the hallway, which Cliff’s team cut back to weave in the new flooring and then refinish. This came out seamlessly and to look at the finished product would leave you to believe it had been all installed at the same time. Cliff’s pricing is very competitive, he and his team showed up on time for both segments of the project and the quality of the work is outstanding. I would definitely recommend Superior Hardwood Flooring for any new, replacement or refinish work."

"Removed kitchen tile & installed vinyl planking. Work was done all in one day, a bit of a rush but understandable as it was the day before pandemic lockdown in 2020. Satisfied with initial work despite one mussed-up lengthwise joining, but that was near sink, not very noticeable. Over next year, however, around half a dozen gaps appeared between ends of planks in one area (a few minor ones in another area). Workmen came out twice (needed prompting), expressed surprise, said they’d replace planks. When workmen finally came out third time, no new planks. They just caulked the gaps with a “close” color. I could have done that, and with a closer color. Since then, the caulk has darkened & crumbled, leaving dirty gaps again. Will not rehire."
