Working with Bob Phalan is great. He is very communicative and responsive. He clearly takes his work very seriously and cares a great deal about the final product and how your house looks. Bob worked on our project for several days, including through the weekend. He was always able to explain what he was doing and why. Our front door is apparently a weird size and he was able to figure out a way to get our storm door installed and looking really nice despite the somewhat odd measurements. He didn't just apply one coat to the front door. He analyzed the door to figure out what type of wood it was, sanded it down, applied primer, and then did the final paint and it looks very good. I will absolutely contact Bob Phalan again for projects around the house. He is very knowledgeable, reliable, hardworking, and capable.

Papalia Home ServicesI had 3 new kitchen appliances hooked up - a dishwasher, a refrigerator and a gas range. The plumber was on time, professional and did a good job in a nice time frame. There was a water dispenser hook up for the refrigerator, which required finding the water source and switching it on. Myself being new to the property and not knowing where it was located, the plumber searched until it was found and successfully hooked up the dispenser. Turns out it hadn't been used in the 10 years the previous owners had been there. Even though this took extra time, I was not charged more because the job had been quoted at a price I agreed on and not determined by an hourly wage. My Angie's List coupon knocked $89 dollars off of the quote, which brought the price down to $360 - a price better than another plumber I'd gotten a quote from.- Gail C.

I took in a stained-glass lamp that did not stay on the lamp base and needed to be repaired. At first he said it wasn’t worth fixing. Then he realized he could fix it so that it would be stable on a lamp base with a few pieces of hardware. I was thrilled. I would’ve been happy to pay him for fixing it but he said never mind and did it for free. I also took in an old crystal chandelier that he bought from me for a very fair price.
