Great job.

We came in with a lamp that needed a new shade and one that would no longer support a three-way bulb. The friendly owner advised that the shape of shade we wanted would be almost impossible to find (as I had discovered) and that he could have it made--although it would be expensive--if I really wanted to. I didn't. He said he could fix the other lamp by the next day, and he did.

The experience with Lamp and Shade Gallery Inc was excellent. They spent about an hour with me to find four Lamp shades, I took the lampshades and tried different ones and they made adjustments and they replaced the plugs on a very old cord. It was a very good experience. They have an excellent selection. I called them and when I got there, they were there to see me. I have recommended to other people and I would use them again if I needed to.

Very positive experience. Ther had a plug on hand and it took only a few minutes to fit the wires of the lamp cord into the plug.

I spent $700 on that work. My interaction with them was quite good. They did the job they promised. Their prices are fair.

It was a very straight forward repair. Brought the lamp in for service. They quickly diagnoses the problem as a faulty switch and I picked up the lamp the next day, working good as new. We'll definitely use them again.

This older couple has been in business for a long time. They've been in the business of being married for a long time, too and the customer is treated to the back and forth between them. It is fun to be there and just watch how they work together. Relationships aside, they know just what to do for your bedraggled lamp. The Mrs. knows her stock and can readily make suggestions, but is not overbearing if you don't like what she shows you. I was very happy she had what I wanted right there. Her husband does the rewiring and if you didn't know there is more than one color cord out there, you will when you've finished. I'd had the same lamps worked on more than 15 years ago, so I wasn't surprised at the cost. Silk shades are expensive. But the electrical work was reasonable, and overall the price was very fair. When I checked that the price was "good" I meant it was not a bargain. But it was very fair value. I don't think you could find a place that was run as well and as knowledgeably as Bemont Lamp and Shade.

Both Charlotte and Harry Eordekian went out of their way to be helpful. Harry rewired the lamps and helped me carry the large lamps to my car. Charlotte helped me in making choices about which lamp shades to buy and what type of rewiring to do. They are a delight to work with. As far as whether the prices were fair I don't know. I haven't bought new shades or repaired any lamps in many many years. The shades cost $79.99. a piece (white silk). The rewiring was $50 for each lamp.

What a terrific lamp store with a great variety of shades. Mr. Eordekian repaired an antique lamp the same day and Mrs. Eordekian suggested I look at a different lampshade for my lamp. Her suggestion was "right on", the lamp looks much better. There was no pressure to buy and the service was terrific, I will return! J. D. Arlington, Ma.

They did a nice job. They even gave me advice on how to prevent this matter from occurring again in the future. I also wanted to upgrade the lamp with a shade, so she sold me a shade for the lamp which made it look very sheik. I would use them again.

We had 3 lamps, but he said he wasn't go to charge for the 3rd, because we could fix it ourselves.

They were prompt, and the price was what they said it would be. The lamps are working. They are nice to do business with. They gave me a little break on the price. I would take my lamps there again and I would recommend them.
