Excellent -- took 2 weeks and is working like new again for $85.

We have had the lamp for years and very much wanted to be able to keep it. The switch to turn it on broke. Fix Masters replaced the switch. Their work and their price were excellent.

I left the food processor for repair, without asking for an estimate. When I called to see if it was ready, it wasnt. I then went on vacation, during which time he left two messages. When I returned I went up to the shop (granted without calling ahead) and he was on vacation. When I returned, about six weeks after the item was ready, and mildly said "wow" when I saw the price, he exploded, yelled ( I mean really yelled, not just as it is used today to mean "scolded") at me, saying he couldn't afford just to have items lying around unapid for, etc. I was very disappointed, since he has done other work for me before and I always had a good experience and admired his ethic of repair rather than replace. But this was not an experience I care to risk repeating.

I called to ask about bringing older/vintage floor lamp for re-wiring; received instructions about hours of operation and location; brought floor lamp to store-front shop. And, I was given information about replacement wiring and recommendation about improving function of the 2 hanging light sockets of the lamp. Price was quoted and expected time that floor lamp would be ready for pick-up. I received call when lamp was ready (within expected timeframe). I paid the amount due ($60.00) and returned home with a perfectly functioning floor lamp.

Technically knowledgeable (various metals and polishing techniquest). Nice work.

I am satisfied with the quality of his work. His ability to refurbish old pieces of sconces originally used during the era of gas lighting was excellent.

The work was done well and the lamps are now straight and work well. I was told they would be ready in 2 weeks. I didn't hear anything from Fix Masters after 2 1/2 weeks, so I finally called them and was told they'd be ready the next day. I'm thinking he waited to do the job until I called. Didn't seem like a job that would take 2 weeks. $50 is what I was quoted and what I paid, but it seemed a little expensive. I didn't get other quotes, though, so I'm not sure. Also, just so you know, they only accept cash or checks - no credit or debit cards.

It was fine. If you are not in a hurry, this is a great deal.

The work is excellent. You would never be able to tell that there is a section missing. I know that it's a bit shorter but, because it sits on top of a bureau, the height, to me, is still more than acceptable. And the price was beyond reasonable at only $20. He promised it back to me within 10 days and he was right on target.

Prompt, friendly, effective service. Easy parking.

I was told it would take seven to ten days since the shop was very busy. The owner called with my work completed at ten days.

I appreciated Joseph's honesty and prompt attention. I will definitely use his service for future repairs.

Owner is a nice man that did a good job fixing my lamp. He called when it was ready, in two weeks. My only complaint is that he was closed when I went to pick up the lamp on a Wednesday mid afternoon.

JOSEPH DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON EACH OF THE LAMPS, PROVIDING US ALSO WITH GREAT IDEAS FOR SHADES AND PLACEMENT OF THE LAMPS IN OUR HOME. HE IS VERY RESOURCEFUL AND CREATIVE, AND HAS A FINE ARTS BACKGROUND WHICH SUITS HIS CURRENT BUSINESS VERY WELL.

JOSEPH IS ALWAYS WILLING TO TAKE ON NEW CHALLENGES, AND VERY RESOURCEFUL IN FINDING SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS. HE IS PLEASANT AND SERIOUS ABOUT HIS WORK, AND OFFERS ADVICE ABOUT CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF ITEMS.

JOSEPH HAS THE EQUIPMENT TO BUFF AND POLISH ALL TYPES OF METAL ITEMS. HE IS VERY THOROUGH AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS WORK, AND THE END RESULTS ARE STUNNING - AN OLD ITEM THAT WAS RUSTED AND/OR TARNISHED IS BUFFED AND POLISHED AND MADE INTO A BEAUTIFUL OBJECT AGAIN.

EXCELLENT! MAKES SURE PROBLEM IS FIXED CORRECTLY. VERY REASONABLY PRICED, CONSIDERING YOU WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE TO THROW AWAY SOMETHING VALUABLE. HE IS VERY HONEST AND STAND BEHIND HIS WORK. HE REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF. I HAVE HAD ONLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCES AND I HAVE BEEN GOING TO HIM FOR 5 OR 6 YEARS!
