"I recently hired Coen Brothers Construction on a thorough bathroom renovation, and the outcome was outstanding. Their quality was excellent, and I am delighted with the final result. Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. "My driveway was well overdue for replacement When I bought my house nine years ago, but like many people I’m sure, it never rose to the top of my budget to do list. Finally, this year decided I had to bite the bullet. I got quotes from a number of companies, but BK & Sons offered the best price for the job with the changes I wanted (wider apron, reshaped parking area, etc) and the features I felt we’re important (10” of sub base, 2x 2” layers of asphalt vs 1 single 4” layer). My new driveway is so much better than I could have imagined. It’s laser straight where it once dipped and sagged, but they even improved the overall grade of my hill by raising up sections and lowering others to have a more consistent slope rather than a low spot and steep section.
