Small jobs welcome

I’ve been in the landscaping industry for over ten years. With a lot of experience in landscape installs, hardscape, lighting, drainage and irrigation amongst other handy man work. I have a lot of plant knowledge and have grown plants for 5 years as well. I want to expand my company more.

"They were a little higher than I expected, but I think the value is there. Their response and turn time was very fast, and the work is done correctly and professionally. They not only knew their stuff, but you could tell they enjoyed what they did, suggesting different lighting ideas & uses. They also have a membership club that gives you free annual inspections and discounted service charges, which is nice."

"I have given Electric Solutions, INc Five stars, because he returned two times and then called after that last visit to make sure my kithchen flouescent light fixture continued to work. It was working half the time. It turns out it was simply a bad swith which he replaced, free of charge. They did address all the other plugs and light fixtures in a professional and timely fashion."

"I am an professional photographer and have photographed many renovation projects for local magazines. I hired Rose Construction to renovate an investment property that my husband and I purchased. What I have noticed, (and see a lot of completed remodeling projects), is that their finish work is flawless. Many of the projects I have photographed don't really have great finish work when you get up close. But for this company, the paint, the caulk, the surfaces are all flawless. The doors are all perfectly hung. They take care of all the little details that a typical homeowner might not know to look for such as making sure walls are level and plumb. We genuinely enjoyed working with them, whereas lot of people hate their builders by the end of the process. I think they are great people who really care and aren't just saying it. And their work is stellar."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

You can use outdoor electrical outlets to conveniently power landscaping equipment such as electrical lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and pressure washers. From a recreational standpoint, outdoor outlets are handy for powering electric grills, mini-fridges, and stereos. They're also helpful when it's time to string Christmas lights on your home and around your property.

Outdoor lighting enhances security, improves curb appeal, and extends the usability of outdoor spaces.

It’s fair to be concerned about handling pool lights or wiring in a pool filled with water. But fortunately, pool lights and swimming pools are designed to make it easy and safe to replace the lights without needing to drain the water. Instead, you can turn off the electricity to the pool as a safety precaution, unscrew the pool fixture, pull it up and out to the side of the pool, then change the bulb.

Installing outdoor lighting can increase your home’s value by up to $2,500. The average ROI on landscape lighting is around 50%, but how much your home increases depends on the market, the type of lighting, and whether you have a strong strategy for your landscaping lighting project. LED and solar lighting may offer the highest ROIs.

Yes, outdoor lights and receptacles should be on a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) for safety. The outdoors is considered a wet location where GFCI protection is generally required. A GFCI enhances safety by automatically tripping and shutting off the circuit if it detects an imbalance, which protects against electrocution and reduces the risk of an electrical fire. While it is the safest approach for all outdoor electrical components, specific requirements can vary depending on the type of light (e.g., pool lights), its location, and local electrical codes. For guidance tailored to your specific situation, it's best to consult a professional electrician.
