"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

Small jobs welcome

"Joshua , owner/ contractor of River-Rite Custom Cabinets, was knowledgeable, professional dependable and reasonably priced . A real pleasure to work with!! He took the time out to explain the process and answer all of our questions, (and believe me I had many!) He went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs and concerns were not only addressed, but met. His work is there such fine quality that even my hard to pleaseâ eagle-eyeâ hubby is still singing his praises! Everyone that comes to our home, has marveled at and complimented our new kitchen. Our custom built maple kitchen cabinets showcase the pride and attention to detail that only comes from an experienced , fine craftsman with a true passion for his craft such as Joshua. In our opinion, you wonâ t find a better contractor! Just a bit of a side-note, you may not want to consider buying our house because my husband ( whose arm had to be twisted to go custom) has decided after seeing our new kitchen that if we ever sell our house he will be stripping the kitchen of all the new cabinetry and taking them with us to our new house because he loves them just that much!! Of course he has agreed to leave all the appliances (all new) but the cabinets will not be included itâ s the sale!! He too agrees it was money well spent. I am so glad we decided to go with custom built instead of the manufactured ones in the big box store. Custom cabinets are more expensive, but they are worth every penny when you have such a conscientious contractor, so if youâ re in the market for some great quality custom cabinets that are reasonably priced you canâ t go wrong with River-Rite!!!"

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

Birch or maple plywoods have tight grain patterns and are dense species that hold up well over time and even in damp environments with proper sealing. These properties make them the most stable plywoods. Oak plywood is also an excellent option. However, care is necessary to ensure oak is well-sealed against moisture to ensure stability.

Yes, garage cabinets are worth it to organize the tools, supplies, equipment, and gear you’ve been storing in the garage. Garage cabinets provide a great way to declutter your space while also preserving your valuables—keeping them free from dust, debris, and various weather elements. Not to mention, garage cabinets also elevate the look of your garage, which can prove beneficial when you’re looking to sell your home.

It's possible to replace lower kitchen cabinets without removing the countertop. However, there are some special considerations to keep in mind. Expect to disassemble the existing cabinets without compromising the countertop's support. You might not be able to reuse the cabinets you remove. Next, you'll have to slightly modify the tops of the new cabinets and install blocking after installation to attach the base to the countertop.

Durability and appearance are the two main drawbacks to installing budget kitchen cabinets, which are often made of less-durable wood or plastic. You're also limited to stock options, meaning you may have a small selection from which to choose.

On the plus side, you can always paint these more affordable kitchen cabinets to make them look the way you want.

The 1/3 rule is a design guideline used by interior designers and cabinet installers to select appropriately sized pulls for cabinets and drawers. The rule suggests that for a balanced and cohesive look, a cabinet pull should be approximately one-third the height of the cabinet door or one-third the width of the drawer face. This guideline helps create a symmetrical appearance because the human eye tends to follow the length of the pull across the cabinet face.

While the 1/3 rule is a helpful starting point, it is not the only option. If a measurement falls between available pull sizes, it's generally best to size up. For an ultra-contemporary aesthetic, you can also opt for full-width pulls that span the entire drawer.
