"The process went very well. There was a long delay due to weather when it would not stop raining, but Clarion kept in touch with me. Once they could actually get out to do the work it was complete in 2 days like they said it would be. The contractors were really professional and very good at what they do. Even with the heavy equipment the yard had minimal damage and that is nothing compared to how great the cleared land looks."

"First of all he's honest because everyone else wanted to charge me $800-$1200 dollars to relevel my trailer home. Eric came out and seen it was a simple fix and did it for $250 I was so impressed I decided to give him more work to clean my yard from storm damage and he and his helpers did a wonderful job they were fast efficient and respectful. And for the first time hiring handymen I didn't have to repeat myself to him Eric did exactly what I asked him to do Very Very impressed"

"Toujours homes was great to work with. They showed up on time every time. They completed the scope of work in a timely manner and went above and beyond to ensure the project was done to perfection. I will definitely be using them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do any home construction projects."

"Excellent company that provides excellent work. You will be blessed by their work and business. They put a metal roof on my house before hurricane Laura came through. It sustained 135 mile per hour winds and the only thing it damaged was the trim and some ridge cap so their work is excellent and they know what they are doing. Because my roof held and it was because of their excellent work. I will recommend their work to anyone."

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Framing most homes takes anywhere between five and eight weeks to complete. You’ll need to account for inclement weather conditions, material shipment times, the number of crew members, and the weight of your materials. If the weather is too hot, wet, or cold for the installation, this process could take closer to eight weeks.

Most Cape Cod houses are two stories tall at the peak, although they’re considered one-and-a-half stories tall because the steep roof pitch cuts off a portion of the living space on the second story. Unless you raise the roof on your Cape Cod house to add a dormer, the interior rooms upstairs will lose some usable living space to the sloped ceilings.

No rules state how much of a load-bearing wall can be removed. Rather, you need to adequately support any area that is removed. Support should always be added to as much wall area is being removed. Failing to support the area properly will result in structural damage.

Traditionally, bungalows are single-story homes, although having a half or partial story on top of the first floor is common. While adding a second story to a bungalow is certainly possible, the home would no longer be considered a bungalow by the strictest definition.

Homeowners can increase the usefulness of their garage space in other ways, and one option is to extend the length of the garage by making it deeper. The process is similar to traditional garage extensions, but the end product is a garage with a different layout rather than additional parking spaces.
