"I gave Gabriel Manson the opportunity to do my roof due to the fact that i personally have known him for years, he’s licensed and insured. My roof was completed on 6/25, I had prior interior damage but when I came back from out of town on 7/4 I had more interior damage as roof was still leaking. Gabriel came out on 7/6 and said he fixed the leak but when further inspected he used black caulking all over where the leak was and still not flush. Along with his workers laid out on my patio furniture, mcdonalds hamburgers left in my yard and a pitbull mix walking around my property for two days after asking workers and gabriel to remove the unleashed dog from my property as I live in an HOA I have been left with a roof that I ultimately have to have replaced again. Shingles going multiple directions, black caulking everywhere, rusted flashing not replaced, rusted vents spray painted but in text said they were replaced, three tab shingles used as ridge caps, a worley bird being added without my knowledge, tankless hot water heater vent changed to plastic, gaps in valleys, and mold where Gabriel checked and said was not wet but failed to mention the mold all together and all my kids stay upstairs were the mold is. We ended up having to pay another roofing company $7,500 on top of paying $15,000 (visionaire construction) to fix his mess. Upon new roofing company doing repairs if was found that old felt paper was left on roof by visionaire construction along with rotted out wood they had no knowledge of because roof was not stripped to plywood."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

You should prune ornamental trees once every other year after the fruit has matured and begun to drop. You should also prune out dead branches whenever you see them. Pruning too often can stimulate more growth, especially in faster growing varieties like Bradford pears.

As a general rule, the protected area should be about 1½ times as wide as the canopy of the tree’s leaves. This digging measurement can vary by tree species and the age of the tree. Of course, that can be a lot of fencing for larger trees, which is why our first step is about making difficult decisions on which trees to save.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

No, you don’t need a pruning seal for trees post-trim. Pruning seals (applied to the cut ends of branches) are widely sold but they aren’t designed for every tree and in many cases can cause more harm. Trees have their own healing processes after pruning, so the best thing you can do is supply them with plenty of water and add some dormant-style fertilizer.

Pruning seals are primarily recommended for very vulnerable species like elm trees in areas where dangerous tree diseases like Dutch elm disease are spreading. In these cases, a sealant’s protection outweighs its downsides.

It is possible to burn out a tree stump if it is dried out and in an area of your property with a large buffer. Drill holes in the stump and dig around the base so it burns more easily. Then, build a small campfire on top using kindling and firewood. You’ll need enough to keep the fire going for many hours to completely burn out the stump, especially if it’s large.

Monitor the fire closely to ensure it doesn’t spread, and have a hose on hand if it starts to get out of control. When the fire is out, break apart the burned stump and dig out what’s left of it.

If this sounds like a good option, learn more about how to burn a tree stump before attempting it, as it does come with risks.
