"I have been doing general contracting work for over 15 years. I can tell you I have worked with several window replacement companies. There is no other company that does the quality of work that Tommy does. They are completely professional, and when they leave the only way you will know they were there is your beautiful new windows. Amazing company amazing people, love Tommy windows, Doors and glass."

"Levi Alfaro of LA Glass ;replaced the glass in our sliding glass door and did a wonderful job. The glass door was over sixty years old and replacement parts have not been available for years. About ten years ago, the rollers stopped working well and two glass companies were called to repair the rollers. Both companies declined to work on the doors saying that doors that old cannot be repaired but must be replaced. Levi, however, was able to replace the glass and repair the rollers. Levi kept the appointment time, spend hours installing replacement glass and adjusting the rollers, all for a reasonable price. I will certainly call on Levi again. Highly recommended. D. Glaziers questions, answered by experts

White vinegar, water, and baking soda create a natural cleaning solution that is highly effective against brown stains on the oven door. Mix one cup of baking soda, one-fourth cup of water, and one teaspoon of vinegar into a paste. Spread it evenly onto the oven glass and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Then, scrape the mixture off with a plastic spatula. Wipe the glass with white vinegar to remove any remaining baking soda.

Cutting glass yourself can be dangerous, as the edges are sharp and can easily cause lacerations if you’re not careful. Working with larger pieces of glass is especially dangerous, as they can be cumbersome and difficult to handle without shattering. If you’re uncomfortable doing the work yourself, you can hire a professional to get the job done safely.

You can use a commercial water repellent treatment for glass on your shower doors to prevent water spots. Take care to only apply the product to glass. Letting air circulate also helps prevent water spots, as water is less likely to remain on the glass for a long time with good air circulation. Run your vent fan, open a window, and leave the shower door open for about half an hour after using the shower.

The cost to remove a mirrored wall from your home ranges between $100 and $3,300, though the average price is only $500. You can save money by doing it yourself, but make sure you have safety equipment such as goggles and gloves, as well as the proper tools (drywall knife, wire saw, and a plastic sheet or tarp to cover the floor).

There’s no exact formula to calculate the cost of your mirror, but a few guidelines will help you estimate the price tag you can expect. The bigger the mirror, the higher the cost—and the same goes for thickness. Customizations will largely depend on the labor required, so think about how long your design will take and multiply that by your contractor’s hourly rate.
