"Rep. checked entire system. He found several wires not connected properly and fixed this. He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."

"Rose de Nola pulled me out of a tight spot on a house flip after another contractor failed to meet expectations. They fixed a serious foundation issue on the existing home and added a master bath and master bedroom in under 5 weeks, turn-key. The house was on the market and sold in less than 2 months and the build was permitted with plans. That's an impressive feat and the project manager for my job kept me in the loop along the way. Well done."

Spent 5 years learning the craft based on my own interests. Keeps customer completely satisfied. Spend all day thinking about air leakage and how to help those in the Louisiana climate zone. Someone can have the best built home, but if they do not have the correct air sealing, they will be uncomfortable and spend unnecessary money on their energy. My mission is to make my customers the most comfortable in their homes, and save them money.

Energy Efficiency Auditing questions, answered by experts

Energy-efficient windows are judged on their performance according to a few different factors, including heat transfer, air leakage, light transference, and condensation resistance. If you're unsure whether a window is energy-efficient, look for an ENERGY STAR® label from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). If various products, including windows, meet energy-efficiency standards set by the federal government, the EPA issues this label to help consumers identify energy-efficient products.

Energy-efficient windows cost more than other window types, but they can help you save on your monthly energy bills, get you some breaks on your taxes, and even increase the value of your home. According to Michael S. Regan, Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, when people invest in green upgrades like energy-efficient windows, they save energy, money, and more.

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.

Hawaii is currently rated as the most expensive state for utilities. How much are utilities for a house in Hawaii? With electricity costs in Hawaii totaling nearly 42 cents per kilowatt-hour, residents are paying more to run their households than any other residents. Electricity costs in Hawaii are so high, mostly due to the fact that most of the electricity available to residents is produced using oil that must be shipped in from other places.

Audits include inspecting insulation, HVAC systems, windows, and appliances to identify energy inefficiencies.
