"Alex and his team were very professional. His people are excellent craftsmen at what they do. Kept us informed throughout the process. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure to do final cleaning before they left. We intend on using them again at a later date. With out a doubt we would 100% recommend them. 1st class company!"

"The kitchen came out well, though I had to really be on the guys working to do the work properly. The craftsmanship was lacking and some things had to be redone. The owner who came out initially pays close attention to detail and is nice. His subcontractors however do not pay close attention to detail and lack craftsmanship skills. The owner is also impossible to get a hold of while the project is going on, which is a pain if you have any questions that need to be answered. The project went on for months longer than anticipated even though I had all of the materials (cabinets, sink, etc) ready before the job was to start. Some days no one would show up, and no one would call. They were often hard to get in touch with and a week would go by before I could get in touch with anyone to answer a question. They were also over budget because they didn't work in electrical, which felt like an intentional oversight. They knew before starting that the kitchen needed it's own breaker switch and that I wanted to install outlets as well as move around appliances. All of that required electrical. I was promised when I signed the contract that the quote was the quote and my budget would be respected. That wasn't the case. While the kitchen did come out great, it wasn't without a fight or daily oversight and even getting some things that should've been measured twice and done once, done over again 2x. It was such a pain in the end that I can not recommend them to anyone."

"I have used them twice now and probably would use them again.  I liked the fact that they gave me before and after pictures.  I liked the fact that they got it all in two days.  It was a fair price.  They are bidding on a job for me right now."

"The service turned out just fine. I asked them to do some extra work, and so had to pay an additional price which was fair.  I haven't had any issues since the service was provided. They did fine, and they showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

The curing time for stucco typically takes several weeks to fully complete. During the curing process, the stucco undergoes a chemical reaction and gradually hardens. It's important to note that curing is different from drying. While the surface of the stucco may dry relatively quickly within a few hours or days, the curing process continues beneath the surface, strengthening and solidifying the stucco.

It's best to avoid excessive moisture exposure during the curing period, as it can impede the curing process. The exact curing time can vary based on factors such as temperature, humidity, and the specific stucco mixture used.

If your windows are losing efficiency from wearing out or experiencing leaks on rainy days, it may be time to consider replacing them. Window replacement costs run between $180 and $410 per window but may be on the higher end for homes with stucco siding since stucco will likely require more time and special tools for replacement.

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It can be a viable option for small, decorative concrete pavers for walkways or for setting fence posts, but it’s not ideal for pouring slabs that will bear any significant amount of weight.

Yes, you can apply the stucco yourself, but it is a time- and labor-intensive project, especially on the exterior of a whole house. DIY stucco is better suited for repairing stucco siding or siding a smaller building, such as a shed or garage. Since most of the cost of stucco siding goes to labor, you can cut down significantly on the total if you’re up for the challenge.

Masonry screws are the best option to be used on stucco. They’re thicker and made to penetrate harder surfaces like concrete and cinder blocks. Fluted masonry screws work the best because they create a stronger grasp thanks to the lines on their shafts. If you’re working on exterior stucco, use galvanized screws to prevent corrosion.
