House was later sold for a profit.

They were OK. Nothing big.

Did not finish the job.

It did not go as well as we had hoped.  He missed straightening out/tightening  some of the siding slats and I had to call him back to make corrections in the places which were still sagging.  He did not appear to understand the type of repair that was needed to straighten out and secure the siding slats.

The service turned out just fine. I asked them to do some extra work, and so had to pay an additional price which was fair.  I haven't had any issues since the service was provided. They did fine, and they showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves.

Very good work and very good quality of material. Be sure to clearly communicate what work you expect to have completed. Roofing work completed was excellent. The additional non-roofing work was completed in a satisfactory manner but there was apparently some miscommunication regarding the finish work with regards to the non-roofing work.

What he did seems to be fine. He still hasn’t contacted me about a small piece of siding that we could not find after the wind storm and he said he would try to replace it. We said we would buy it, but he hasn’t contacted me regarding this yet. It has been several months since we last spoke. He may have forgotten or never found a piece for us. My in-person interactions were good. He was very professional and polite. He just didn’t follow through with us.

I signed up for a groupon special for small siding repairs. He came out, inspected the broken siding, and took a sample to best match it. A couple days later he found an almost dead on match.
He replaced the siding and it looked great.  There were some issues with a corner piece, and he went out of his way to go back to the warehouse to get the right equipment to get the job done.
Even with the additional work, he honored the groupon pricing!

Roof inspection and cleaned out one gutter and attached a brace to another. Found one vent flashing that needed to be fastened. Roofer said he would send an employee back to complete. Never did send an employee, even after a reminder email.  clm

Provider was very responsive when purchase was made, he called that day to schedule work.  However, he then called the day of the appointment to cancel and told me to call him back to reschedule, which I did twice.  When he did come out, he was punctual. He was going to just slide the siding pieces around and tuck them back under the underhangs but I explained that I felt like he had to nail or tack them because I had already done that and the wind blew them out of place.  He then stated "I'll have to make sure I have nails in the truck"????? He did and he did tack the pieces back in place.  So far the tacks seem to be working and so I am satisfied with the work for the price.

It was okay. I really wasn't sure what was included in the repair because I did have some wood that had to be replaced. The price of it was a bit more expensive than I thought. It was about $900 to replace some wood. I kind of figured it was going to be more than the deal amount because it was cedar siding and so is kind of expensive. There were a few pieces that had rotted so they had to take that out and replace it. They did the work very well and it took them just half a day to do it. The material was included in the price. They had four guys to do the job. They did the job and they cleaned up afterwards. They took a while to get here. They came out a couple of days after I submitted everything. He was here on time. That kind of surprised me. Usually, most people come out here kind of late. It was kind of a small job and it's hard to get people to do small jobs. They did do it!

He was on time and very professional. Gave a quick look at the siding and noticed no major problems and offered to give me a quote on a roof, which i never received. On some loose flashing, he put about four screws down into the brick. They are all completely loose now.

JLM Remodeling contacted us very quickly after the Big Deal was purchased and came out to the house fairly soon after the initial contact. We went over some possible services that I might want him to provide regarding our home. However, the owner of JLM felt that the value of the Big Deal would only cover gutter cleaning.  It was a while before JLM got back to us to actually clean the gutters and we were not informed in advance when it was going to take place. However, when we returned home one day after work, we saw that the gutters were very clean and JLM did leave a message on our answering machine, indicating that the work was done that day. I was under the impression that he was going to get back with us to talk about our other needs for the house; however, we have not heard back from him. Apparently, there was no further interest on his part.

He did everything right.  I will use him again.

Jeff was very quick to respond to my request for his siding maintenance discount package. The only problem he saw with my siding was 2 panels that had moved so he pushed them back in place for me.
He also was nice enough to give me a free estimate for taking down an 30 year old solar panel off my roof and putting new shingles in its place plus replacing all the vents on the roof while he was at my house so I didn?t have to have him come back a different time. His quote was slightly higher than the other 2 I had gotten but he explained every detail to me and even recommendations that I had not heard from the others so I hired him as soon as I got the quote. I didn?t even have to be home
for them to do their jobs! That was nice as I am mostly busy in the AM and its cooler in the AM for them. That worked out for both of us. They did a great job! My vents look much better now without the old partially eaten raggedy vents that were on my house before. I am really happy to see the very heavy solar panel off the roof. It had served its purpose for over 20 years but with the newer energy efficient water heaters it was no longer cost effective. I am more than satisfied with their service and the communication was spot on! Great job!!

delays - hard to contact - didn't finish - 2 antique decorations on roof disappeared, then the roofers disappeared - never heard from them again - never got $50 coupon, never got warranty papers

Contractor was professional, polite and responsive, but he had to return repeatedly to correct leaks.   Biggest problem was the poor quality of the patio cover material and guttering materials.  So thin that it was severely damaged by hail, and gutters sag dramatically whenever there's a heavy rain.  Also we have been told by several contractors that the gutters were installed incorrectly.

My experience was excellent. He came out when he said he was going to for the estimate, and came the day they said they were going to be there for the work. It was all completed in a very short amount of time as well.

I called, he came, he fixed the problem, end of story.

They came out even though they did not have the time, and they worked until dark that evening. I am so pleased with them. Jeff the owner is a really nice man. The other men who came out were very nice too.

JLM came out less than 1 day after my call. Made the repairs right away and even did a little extra securing of loose shingles. Professional and efficient.

Felt like since I didn't give larger job they didn't want to deal with the two hours I already purchased. Don't think I'll use this company again. Wow. First time ever using Angie's .... Don't know..??
