Got the last-minute siding maintenance deal.
It was a while ago, but I remember that he rescheduled a couple of times, and then when he did come he was late and seemed irritated. He looked at the house and gave me an astronomical estimate to basically replace all the weatherboards. (I told him I knew they were in kindof rough shape, but I didn't need the whole house to be redone-- I just wanted to see if he could fix a couple of the bad ones.)  It felt like he was totally annoyed and condescending with me because my house wasn't perfect and because I live in a neighborhood that's a little rough. Seemed like he was not exactly used to being called out to an area like my 'hood.  We agreed that he could do some minimal work to at least get the value of the angie's list deal purchase. Weeks went by and nobody never called to follow up. 
Maybe he just had a bad day--everyone has one, and I understand that--but my experience was not a good one. 
I ended up calling Angie's list and they refunded my money for the deal.

House was later sold for a profit.

Did not finish the job.

It did not go as well as we had hoped.  He missed straightening out/tightening  some of the siding slats and I had to call him back to make corrections in the places which were still sagging.  He did not appear to understand the type of repair that was needed to straighten out and secure the siding slats.

The service turned out just fine. I asked them to do some extra work, and so had to pay an additional price which was fair.  I haven't had any issues since the service was provided. They did fine, and they showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves.

They did not show up to do the work and could not get then on the phone.

It didn't go very good. I had the guy come out and say, well, what's wrong? I said, I want you to look at my siding. I had a piece of siding on the side of the house and he says, you have to buy a whole roll and it was one or two hundred and I looked at the roof and you need to replace your caps, going to cost you about $650.
It didn't seem like he wanted to take the time to be here.

They were very prompt and courteous. We plan on using them for the work.

JLM Siding LLC workman came to my house and began the work and approximately 45 minutes later, came to tell me that it was raining/sleeting and that he would return with a second workman to complete the replacement when the weather was better. I finally called JLM Siding after about 3 weeks and left a message inquiring when the work would be completed. I got a call back indicating that they would not be completing the work because my siding was not in good enough shape. I asked what it would cost to replace the siding needed and was told $300. I asked about getting a refund on my $99 and was told to contact Angie's List. I did that and was told that since the work was started, I was not eligible for a refund of my $99 even though only a minimal amount of work was done. I was told to submit a negative report on JLM Siding and that if they were not willing to work out something to refund my $99, that they would be put on some kind a negative list (probation). I was issued an Incident Reference # 1400218-002256. Bottom line, I am not only out $99, but also the cost of subscribing to Angie's List which I do not feel confident I can ever use again in view of what has happened in this case. This is extremely upsetting to me as a retired person still paying on a house and trying to keep it looking nice.

I received a confirmation email from JLM Remodeling and we set a date for Feb 5. When that date arrived, no one showed up for the service. When I contacted the company, they acted as if I had made a mistake and denied ever speaking with me. I did not appreciate them blaming me for their error and do not wish to do business with this company. I would like a refund for the $99.00

When he came out to see what was needed, my siding issues were not what he did. To complicated to replace upright beam, and replace with longer pieces of siding to be staggered. I had all materials ready to be used. I had plywood to put under beams on outside ceiling overhang 7-8 feet high with or without insulation that I already had. He glossed over this issue and asked what else I had. I had an outside door that needed to be cut down at the bottom for door to close properly and a screen door that needed to be trimmed on side and also on the bottom of this door to fit properly. He inferred the two doors would fit the fee. I was disappointed that this was all that could be accomplished. This would break down to $50.00 per door to trim down. I was disappointed this was all that could be done. Although the day he was to come around after 10:am, he had not called me so I called to ask if I had the wrong day. He called back to say that he had a possible small stroke, the doctors had said and could not do the job. I was sorry this had happened to him.

Very good work and very good quality of material. Be sure to clearly communicate what work you expect to have completed. Roofing work completed was excellent. The additional non-roofing work was completed in a satisfactory manner but there was apparently some miscommunication regarding the finish work with regards to the non-roofing work.

He was pleasant and helpful, but couldn't do the job, because he said our siding is too old.

What he did seems to be fine. He still hasn’t contacted me about a small piece of siding that we could not find after the wind storm and he said he would try to replace it. We said we would buy it, but he hasn’t contacted me regarding this yet. It has been several months since we last spoke. He may have forgotten or never found a piece for us. My in-person interactions were good. He was very professional and polite. He just didn’t follow through with us.

I signed up for a groupon special for small siding repairs. He came out, inspected the broken siding, and took a sample to best match it. A couple days later he found an almost dead on match.
He replaced the siding and it looked great.  There were some issues with a corner piece, and he went out of his way to go back to the warehouse to get the right equipment to get the job done.
Even with the additional work, he honored the groupon pricing!

The appointment was scheduled. I waited and no one showed up or called. I finally called and was told that they had knocked on my door and no one was home. I explained that was impossible because I have power gates to enter into my property and no one had called to come in. I was then told that they would call me back to reschedule and no one has called back. I would NOT recommend this company - in my opinion they are unreliable and very unprofessional.

Bought deal on August 20 and scheduled service on three different dates. All cancelled . I last started to reschedule approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago by email, text and voice mail messages. No reply. Monday, nov 11 left message on phone that if he did not call and reschedule I wanted my money back. He finally called and said he was not feeling well for the last two weeks and thought it best to get my refund. I told him that I saw he has a new DEAL on AL for same service but now priced $111. He had nothing to say.

Roof inspection and cleaned out one gutter and attached a brace to another. Found one vent flashing that needed to be fastened. Roofer said he would send an employee back to complete. Never did send an employee, even after a reminder email.  clm

Provider was very responsive when purchase was made, he called that day to schedule work.  However, he then called the day of the appointment to cancel and told me to call him back to reschedule, which I did twice.  When he did come out, he was punctual. He was going to just slide the siding pieces around and tuck them back under the underhangs but I explained that I felt like he had to nail or tack them because I had already done that and the wind blew them out of place.  He then stated "I'll have to make sure I have nails in the truck"????? He did and he did tack the pieces back in place.  So far the tacks seem to be working and so I am satisfied with the work for the price.

It was okay. I really wasn't sure what was included in the repair because I did have some wood that had to be replaced. The price of it was a bit more expensive than I thought. It was about $900 to replace some wood. I kind of figured it was going to be more than the deal amount because it was cedar siding and so is kind of expensive. There were a few pieces that had rotted so they had to take that out and replace it. They did the work very well and it took them just half a day to do it. The material was included in the price. They had four guys to do the job. They did the job and they cleaned up afterwards. They took a while to get here. They came out a couple of days after I submitted everything. He was here on time. That kind of surprised me. Usually, most people come out here kind of late. It was kind of a small job and it's hard to get people to do small jobs. They did do it!
