"DDR from the very beginning were very professional and punctual! Pat The Painter was there in the beginning to get our wants and needs. Jesse did a great job with the design of our new addition. We had a two story addition to include a master bath and closet, expansion of existing bathroom, and new family room done. Chris who was assigned as our project manager was awesome! I would recommend you you ask for him for your project. There wasnâ t a day that went by he didnâ t communicate with us one shape or another about the construction. Mike and his crew did an amazing job with drywall, trim, and the fixtures. Omar did an amazing tile job! If you need tile work call him! DDR has a great team and did an amazing job! Thanks. The Guffeyâ s."

"Rescreened and cleaned tile floor and entire screened porch including furniture after storm damaged 6 months ago. I am very picky and I cannot say enough good comments about the beautiful results this company achieved. Workmanship and workers were superb!"

"Phillip and his team did an extraordinary job (in the middle of a pandemic!) converting our basement into a beautiful and useable office space. He helped us select a carpet in a width that would not show an obvious seam (something we would not have thought of) and that ultimately made the space brighter. He is a perfectionist when it comes to detail work such as painting, wallpapering, and trim-- he even fixed the light at the top of our stairs, which needed replacing. We can't recommend Perfect Circle highly enough and hope to be fortunate enough to hire them again."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Replacing tile flooring can take a few days for a pro, but larger rooms will need more time. It takes eight to 12 hours for a tiling pro to remove old grout and tiles across 100 square feet. Then, it will take about four hours to prep the subfloor for tiles and another eight to 10 hours for a pro to install new tiles. Your tiling project may take up to a week, depending on the size of the room.

The number of boxes of tile you need depends entirely on the amount of tile in each box or case. Different manufacturers package their tiles differently, and boxes contain different amounts of tile depending on the size, shape, and material. Often, the amount of area that a case will cover is listed in the product description. To calculate the number of boxes you need, take the total square feet of the space and divide it by the number of square feet the box will cover.

On average, tiling a shower costs between $1,800 and $5,000, with most people paying around $2,700. The price of this project depends on multiple factors, including the kind of tile you choose, the size of your shower, and labor rates in your area. If you decide to tile your own shower (instead of hiring a professional), it’ll likely cost $800 to $1,400.

While you shouldn’t use thinset mortar on its own as a floor leveler, it can work alongside other products to help level floors. For instance, you could start with a self-leveling compound, let that dry, then apply backer board with thinset mortar to help fully even out the floors ahead of laying tile.

Your floors should be completely level for tile, otherwise you risk damaging the tiles in the future. When there are even small gaps or hills in the subfloor beneath the tile, this puts more pressure on the tile when you walk around on the floor. With repeated traffic, the tiles are at risk of cracking, and you’ll have to deal with tile repairs sooner than if the floor was completely level.
