We have served the Kentucky area for over 100 years! Additional DBA - C C Steepleton Co.

"We’ve honestly had nothing but problems since we bought the swingset. The stain started wearing 2 weeks after we bought it (I have a 3 year old and 1 year old), we had broken wood off of the swingset, and now about a year later we have a rip tarp on the top. The warranty was approved to replace it under the “lifetime warranty” but then we have to now pay for someone to install it. This swingset company is a complete joke and so is steeplwton. They don’t go over all LOGISTICS before you spend $10,000+ on a swing set."

Basketball Goals questions, answered by experts

Tennis courts typically last between 10 and 25 years, but the lifespan heavily depends on the court type and how well it’s maintained. Clay and grass courts can last indefinitely with proper maintenance. Hard courts usually last between 15 and 25 years, while artificial turf courts last 10 to 15 years. However, you need to resurface many courts every five years or so to maintain their appearance and playability.

So long as your court and hoop dimensions are the same, any basketball player can get a great workout and improve their skills on an indoor or outdoor court. However, you might consider using or building an indoor court if you live in a particularly rainy or windy area, as this can make it difficult to play outdoors.

Yes, you can use a tennis court as a pickleball court. You just need to draw pickleball lines on the tennis court to use it as a pickleball court. You'll also want to adjust the net or purchase an adjustable net for convenience and lower it by 2 inches at the center. You can even create two or four pickleball courts out of a single tennis court for larger sports events. The key is to divide the court down to the correct ratios using chalk, a washable marker, or tape.

Yes, many companies offer customizable colors, markings, and even logos for personalized courts.

Several factors can impact the cost of installing a basketball court, including:

  • Court size (full- or half-court)

  • Site work needed to level the court area

  • Paint

  • Concrete foundations for the hoops

  • Type of basketball hoop

  • Flooring or court material (concrete, asphalt, rubber, or wood)

  • Add-on features, such as benches and scoreboards
