Hair Salons/Barbers
The salon was very clean, and the stylist gave me a tour since this was my first visit. We discussed my goals for my hair before she began cutting. She did a very good job with the haircut. The salon is in a convenient location in a strip mall on Taylorsville Rd, in the shopping center where CVS is located.
The thing that bothered me about this salon was that while I was there, an inappropriate and vulgar song was played as part of the music mix. I was stunned by the lyrics of the song and listened closely to make sure I heard what I thought I did. The stylist responded promptly to my request to turn off the music, which was being played off someone's MP3 player.
When I returned to the salon on a future visit, the same type of music (rap style) was being played. It did not create a very relaxing environment for me.
