One of the beautiful things about the word "home" is that it means something different to every person. At some point, you may determine that it's time to move on and start making memories in a new home. Before you put your home on the market, think about the home-buying journey from the perspective of someone who holds their own definition of "home." \n\nMy approach to professional home staging is to create warm, welcoming, comfortable spaces that spark inspiration for home buyers. I want buyers to imagine how they could put their own stamp on a home and to feel they are standing in a home that has been well loved and cared for by the current owner. Staging puts all my best skills to use. I love design, helping people sell their biggest asset and shopping.\n\nBuyers respond more positively to staged homes, often making higher offers in a quicker timeframe. I welcome your call - reach out today to discuss the benefits from investing in my quick, professional staging services.

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent.
My project is far from complete.  I intend to continue to use Vicki and her expert advice until the end !!!!"

"

Did a good job, providing 2 layouts to choose from.  Completed design and sent email and snail mail paint and furniture samples in a little over a month from starting the process.  The previous estimate was 2-3 weeks so it wasn't so late.  My only disappointment was the design was not for the complete room.  They told me that the missing area was considered an entry way or hallway and could be designed for an additional fee.  I did not want to pay an additional and accepted their explanation, but on second thought, in my opinion, it isn't really separate.  There is a large archway one-third of the way into the room, but I have never considered it as two separate rooms and no one visiting my home has ever mentioned it.  Every room has an entrance.  I wouldn't call the way to get into a room as a separate room. Other than that, I would say a got a great deal overall.

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

Home staging in Florence offers immediate benefits like faster sales and increased buyer interest, often leading to higher offers. In the long term, staged homes are perceived as well-maintained and move-in ready, which can boost your property value and reduce time on the market. Enhanced listing photos and fewer buyer objections also help you navigate the Florence real estate market with confidence.

Helpful?

For staging in Florence, keep a basic tool kit, neutral touch-up paint, microfiber cloths, and extra light bulbs ready. A dehumidifier helps manage local humidity, while air fresheners and a vacuum maintain a fresh environment. Store seasonal décor and use storage bins for quick decluttering. Furniture pads and removable hooks make rearranging safe, and fresh flowers add a welcoming touch for showings.

Helpful?

Florence homeowners often choose neutral wall colors, open-concept layouts, and updated kitchens with granite or quartz surfaces for staging. Modern farmhouse accents, such as shiplap and barn doors, remain popular, as do organized storage solutions and smart home features. Outdoor living spaces and subtle seasonal décor also appeal to buyers looking for functional, stylish homes in the local real estate market.

Helpful?

Combining home staging with upgrades such as fresh paint, minor repairs, landscaping, and deep cleaning in Florence can streamline your selling process. Coordinating these improvements allows for efficient scheduling and minimizes disruptions. Many local real estate professionals recommend tackling these tasks together to enhance your property’s appeal, attract more buyers, and help your home stand out in the competitive Florence real estate market.

Helpful?

In Florence, start by decluttering and thoroughly cleaning high-traffic areas to boost your home’s presentation. Address easy fixes like tightening hardware or replacing light bulbs, but avoid any electrical work or disturbing painted surfaces in older homes due to possible lead paint. If you notice persistent odors or heavy lifting is needed, it’s safer and more effective to consult a local staging expert.
