"Things moved along quickly after we made contact with Briteway. The Sales / Customer Service staff called within a few days and scheduled an appointment to view the house and give us a free quote. After meeting with 2 other companies, my husband and I went with Briteway due to the professionalism of Ben (customer service rep), as well as the quote being the better of the 3 that we received. From there, things went smoothly! The painters were professional, friendly, and skilled at what they do. After the job was completed, my husband went online and made a payment with his credit card. Lastly, the house looks great, the neighbors have told us that they're glad that we kept the house pink :) , and we've recommended Briteway to a friend who needs their home painted."

"This was a positive experience from start to finish. Lance and team Redemption was always prompt and professional. It is obvious they take pride in their work and service provided. I found this company on Angie's List (it was actually my first experience using Angie's List). I will definitely use this company again in the future!!

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.

Yes, many professionals use dustless or water-based blasting methods for reduced environmental impact.
