"I suspected that the dry track in my basement had an obstruction causing it to overflow a little, so I called Frontier to see if they can check it out. I was really impressed with David [Provider Name Removed]! He drove all the way to my house the next day, even though there was a tornado warning and flash flood warning in my area. He gave some really good recommendations on how to fix my situation. Thanks David!"

"Frontier honored its warranty for stabilizing my driveway concrete after it continued to sink 1 year after they were hired to stabilize. They sent out Jovon to complete the warranty work. Jovon was exceptional in his workmanship and professionalism. He looked at the prior work and walked through his solution for correcting the issue. He was actually able to correct the problem ( lift concrete ) better than the original tech did. Frontier is lucky to have Jovon on staff. And they are definitely trustworthy to honor their warranty."

"Nick B and Josh B did a fantastic job lifting and leveling my concrete driveway! They're really nice hard-working guys and very knowledgeable about the job at hand! They did a wonderful job cleaning up and were very respectful of my property. I give AFS my highest recommendation and will definitely use them in the future for additional concrete work!"

"Braxton came as scheduled to level up the various slabs of concrete in our driveway. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We are pleased with the work he did and the level of service he provided! The weather did not allow him to finish the job to his satisfaction. So, he returned a few weeks later when the weather was forecast to be dry for the day to seal the cracks and cover them with sand. Not only was the end result aesthetically-pleasing, it is sealed now to protect from any water getting underneath the concrete slabs in the future. He and Landon were professional, thorough and efficient. Highly recommend!"

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.
