"I was a little confused as I was assured by sales person my flooring was waterproof but was told by installers the floor was water resistant not waterproof. I Contacted Empire but never received a response so was a little disappointed.Question has not been answered."

Yes. When installed properly, the strong adhesive on carpet tiles keeps them in place while also allowing homeowners the flexibility to peel up an individual tile and replace it if they need to.
