I have recently had some concerns about my panels because our app with the solar company says our panels are producing more energy than the electric company is giving us credit for an so we have had a constant solar panel payment and an electric payment. I emailed 816solarpros asking for some guidance figuring out this issue and no one has responded as of yet, though I am still hopeful they will. Our solar bill is around $300 a month and our electric bill is an average of $100 a month which means we are not currently finding our solar panels to have saved us any money in the short term, but rather cost us an average of an extra $150 per month. I am still hopeful that this will eventually have been an investment that saves us money, but I am not sure this was the best move to save money. I will say the $15,000 tax credit did help, but not enough that I would recommend others to buy solar panels at this time. It did seem better in the sells pitch than it has been in actuality."
