The job was a bit expensive, but it's not a small house, though a neighbor is getting their house done by someone else for $1000 less. The house and trim look good, until you get really close. House color on trim edges that should be a different color. All over spray wasn't cleaned up well, no masking was done. Lots of paint on the driveway, in the grass and on the upper deck. Areas in the yard where brushes and equipment were cleaned, or where paint was spilled are now dead, I will have to reseed those areas when it gets cooler. For the most part we are satisfied, but attention to detail was lacking.

We want to give the highest recommendation for College Painters, in particular, Caleb Lockwood along with his work crew. We are very satisfied with the service and performance from Caleb and his team while having our house painted in mid June 2023. Caleb managed the project which went smooth and flawlessly because of the professional service he provided. Caleb and his team were prompt in the morning when they started work and continued steadily throughout the day despite the brutal heat. They always cleaned up at the end of each day and they were always very respectful of our home and property. The service College Painters provided was exemplary. There were countless OSHA violations. Unsafe work environment. Pay was far less than what was agreed on when receiving a check. Work was shoddy and no one knew what was going on. I don’t want my name associated with such a terrible company.

Dylan Lewis and his team worked tirelessly against 3 heat advisories, a broken ladder, and TWO tornados to get our house painted. (They weren't on site during the tornados, but their equipment was!) Both Dylan and his team were very professional and courteous throughout the job. He walked me through everything that they did and everything they were working on each day, and he was very amenable and responsive when I voiced concerns. Murphy's Law hit them at every stop, and it extended the project by a few days, but Dylan and his team took each challenge in stride without compromising the quality of work. Now our house looks great! I wouldn't change a thing.

During the job, communication was good. There was no attention to detail. I had to point out several places that were not completed properly. After they were gone, I noticed numerous places that needed finished. I contacted my local person and he did come back to fix some if the issues. They splattered white paint on my wood front door and still no resolution. They also did not completely cover my new deck with stain properly. The wood is still showing in places. I contacted corporate offices and filed grievance. It has been 3 weeks and no response from anyone. I plan to file grievance with Better Business Bureau and contact a lawyer.

I would recommend College Works, specifically if managed by Chad Ellis. I have a century-old house which I had waited too long to repaint, and I only wanted CW to paint the top third of the house, which I couldn’t reach myself (trying to save money). What I liked best about Chad was that he was easy to work with, listened, and quickly made right any issues that came up, even to the point of taking care of the work himself. He cared about doing a good job and satisfying the customer. In the end, the colors were beautiful and the work was done well.

This was a simple, pain-free experience!! Painter worked quickly, neatly and was very pleasant to have in our home. John Sampson was so thorough in the entire painting process that he sat down with us, told us just what he would be doing and then fulfilled that promise. I have recommend him to several friends.

Keaton and his team from College Works Painting did a great job. He accommodated us when the window install contractor was unable to complete on time, and scheduled the adjusted dates seamlessly. Kudos to Keaton and his team for powering through extreme weather, when the heat index was above 108 degrees for several days. The job was completed efficiently and the house looks totally different…an awesome facelift! Keaton’s communication skills are exceptional. He kept us informed along every step of the process, in person, by phone, and text. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their house painted.
