We are a full service home improvement company currently employing seven full time installers two part time installers three fulltime salesmen three part time sales personel. All of these people are employees of our company, covered by our insurance policies, and not relying on yours. We only use sub-contractors for certain concrete or roofing applications and we make sure they carry all the insurance needed for your protection. We offer free estimates. Once an agreement for our services has been reached and a contract has been signed we ask for a downpayment of 25-30% of the job total. The balance is do upon completion of the job and final approval by the customer.

"The windows and gutters seem o.k. The siding is very noisy and is continually popping and creaking. The noise is very annoying. The original vinyl siding made NO noise and DID NOT pop and creak. When a piece of siding blew off the house, one could see how the siding was installed. Please refer to attached photo."

Fiberglass provides good thermal resistance, helping regulate garage temperatures and minimize heat transfer. It’s best to prevent cold air from entering your garage through the space underneath the garage door. Stop cold air in its tracks by adding or replacing the weatherstripping underneath the door seal. You can also add weatherstripping along the sides and top of the garage door to prevent air leakage, and it’s a relatively easy DIY fix.

If you open your garage manually, you don’t need sensors. If you have an automatic garage door opener, sensors are required by law. The federal law UL 325 mandates that all residential garage door openers in the U.S. must include sensors. Designed to prevent accidents and reduce the risk of entrapment, the sensors should be able to reverse the motion of the garage door within two seconds of detecting an obstruction. The sensors are there to keep you, your family, and your belongings safe from a door that might otherwise come down too hard or too fast.

You do not need to drywall over most types of garage insulation. However, doing so can increase noise reduction, make the space more attractive, and keep children and pets from touching harmful fiberglass insulation. If you’re using cellulose or some other type of blown-in insulation (fiberglass and mineral wool are common), you will need drywall to contain the insulation material.

You’ll want to use a sprayer to paint your garage door, especially if the door has panels and other details. A sprayer can get those hard-to-reach places much easier than cutting in with a brush or trying to roll the paint. Once you get comfortable using a sprayer, you’re more likely to get a smooth, professional-looking finish. However, a paint roller will also work if you’ve got a flat garage door or if you don’t have access to a sprayer.
