They were able to give me a bid based on photos I texted him. Bid was fair and work was scheduled. They showed up on the day agreed upon and the work was done and done very well. Mess was cleaned up and price was as quoted. Would definitely hire these guys again. Excellent crew and work. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thanks!

I am very impressed with this company! The communication was great and the driveway looked fantastic after they were done. We had about a 2-3" lip in front of our garage and the mud jacking lifted the driveway slab to an even entry. The crew was friendly and I am extremely happy with the final result.

This company did work on our home before we purchased it. Being content with that work, we called them again.
When we agreed in the winter on the work to be done, we agreed to wait until spring to do the mudjacking. On-The-Rise called ahead when weather improved (as promised) and came as scheduled.
While his crew was mudjacking the porch and sidewalk, I asked his advice how to repair a broken french drain in my driveway--expecting to schedule a later date of service and to pay for it, of course. He said, "No problem. I'll just fix that right now." Asked what he would charge, he said "Oh, nothing. It's no big deal."
During the mudjacking process, he asked to see our basement to ensure no leak-through (just in case), and courteously removed his shoes inside the house.
When agreement was made in winter, the owner hoped to have VISA payment method available but, in the spring, VISA was not yet available (cash or checks only), so he offered to lower the price $25 from original $650 agreement. Said "We just want our customers to be satisfied with our company."
Actual mudjacking was done well. I'm happy with this company and would certainly refer On-The-Rise Concrete Services to others.

They came, they did what they're supposed to do, cleaned up when they were finished and explained what they were going to do. The owner was very very nice. I had a really good experience and they just did everything just right.

The company was very professional and did an outstanding job. They raised the concrete and sealed up the holes with concrete. The only problem is I had to wait 2 months before they could do the job, but they did not forget me and I did not have to call them back to remind them I was still waiting for service.

The service could not have been better. Charles came out soon after we called to discuss the job we needed done. The bid matched the final price. They fit us into their busy schedule as quickly as they could, because we had a big gap develop between our garage door and the garage floor. This was going to be a huge problem in the winter. The team, who came on time, and called the week before to be sure it would be convenient, did a perfect job of getting the floor to meet the garage door. They also mudjacked the rest of the floor to meet the wall of the entryway into the house. The floor is now in line with the foundation edge and you can not even see light under the garage door, where there used to be a large gap. We could not be more pleased with the service and the price is very reasonable. They cleaned up well when they were done and were courteous and easy to communicate with throughout the process. This is the second time we have used this company and we are very pleased with them. We would highly recommend them to all Angie's list members.

Excellent. When we called they came right out with an estimate. Said it would be about 6 weeks. They were very busy. Set apt for October. They came in October as they originally said they would. Performed work and cleaned up very well. Even patched some cracked concrete, that we didn't expect. Actual charge came in $200 plus less than estimate. We are very happy with experience and would use again.

We are pleased with the service and the cost. They drilled holes and pumped in leveling mud under a portion of our front drive way and front sidewalk. A portion of the concrete sidewalk was also repaired by them at no additional charge to us. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing mud jacking service. It took a while for them to get to us but this is probably attributable to their being very busy

A crew of three were here about an hour. Eric, the crew cheif, had his two workers well trained and they all worked together to get the job done. He went the extra mile when I wanted it raised another half inch. It looks really good and we are hopeful it will last at least three years. I was impressed at how much equipment it took to do a simple mud jacking job. I wasn't offered the 10% discount that I thought I should received as an Angie's List customer.

Driveway had settled next to the garage doors. Called for estimate. Estimate provided in a couple of days. Work scheduled based on a date provided. Work was performed on the date it was promised. Work looks good and has not settled back after 6 months. I would recommend them to others.

They were on time, happy to answer questions, and mudjacked our garage floor back to where it used to be. They cleaned up well and it took the amount of time they had estimated. The bid was provided in writing the day they came out to look at the job and they were willing to choose a time to do the work that was convenient for us too. Their price was reasonable and competitive and I would hire them again.

Charles was very friendly when giving us the quote, it was less than another estimate, he was honest about when he could do the work, and the quality was great with no additional fees.

Telephone response and providing of estimate were both timely.
Agreed upon service date was about 6 weeks out. When I had not received a confirmation of the service call a week prior to agreed date I called and they tried to put me off a couple more weeks. When I pressed, they agreed to a date one week beyond original promise. They arrived on that date and performed service as expected.

We have had a problem with driveway slabs sinking---so much that entering our garage was like driving over a curb. Several companies (3-4) came out to give us bids....all said that at least half a dozen slabs would have to be replaced and that mud jacking was not an option because they would be unable to make each slab level to each other. The cost would be about $4000-5000 to do the job. On the Rise Concrete came out and felt that mud jacking WAS an option and Charles Schooley was willing to do the job. For $500. (We spent an additional $100 to mud jack a back door slab that animals had dug under). The job was completed in 1/2 a day and looks spectacular. The slabs did not crack, they are all level, the driveway looks wonderful and has been driven over many, many times with an over-sized van without any problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend this company.

A void had developed under one side of our full three car wide driveway. Eric was prompt in providing a bid upon referral from another Angie's List provider who didn't perform the needed mudjacking service. The job was able to be accomplished without drilling through the concrete and On the Rise provided an extra cubic yard of top soil to bring the yard to level with the drive and prevent further erosion. The job was completed earlier than promised to accommodate our desire to expedite the work so seeding of the new topsoil could take place in early September. Everything was done as promised or even better.

They were on-time. The work was done expeditiously and very well. The prices very competitive. I would recommend this company.
