"My family owns several large metal buildings used to store some pretty expensive farm and ranching equipment.  The extreme temperatures and harsh Kansas weather were both starting to take a toll on the machinery and other contents of the buildings, so we decided it'd be in our best interest to see what insulating the buildings would cost.  
A friend of mine had told me about Airtight of Kansas out of El Dorado, so I gave them a call.  Chris Garrison, the owner of Airtight, came on-site to inspect our building himself.  He was extremely knowledgeable and reviewed our options very thoroughly, explaining that closed cell foam insulation was what he recommended for our building.  He was able to schedule the job a couple of weeks after the initial inspection.  The crew showed up on time and completed the job within the time-frame that we were given and conducted themselves in a very professional and courteous manner.  There was no mess left behind, nor was our building, property, or any of the building contents damaged during the process, which was a huge relief!  
W e have been more than satisfied with the results.  We will definitely be giving Chris a call in the future to come back and insulate our other buildings on the property, and we would highly recommend Airtight to anyone needing commercial or residential insulation.

"In December of 2011 my parents had decided to update the attic space. I offered to help them out with the search for a contractor as I was already a member of Angie’s list and had great success finding other professional services on here.  I started with the highest rated companies and set up appointments to review and run through the scope of work that was needed on my parent’s house. After I had met with Young Remodeling I knew that I had found out contractor. While we had ideas about what we wanted in the space the suggestions and recommendations from Paul certainly helped guide us though the remodel of the kitchen as updating an 80 year old house had its share of issues. The space in question had a lot of issues to deal with. My dad in his do it yourself desires had started the project, and it did not end well. Also the windows were sadly outdated. The space was not being utilized well and had become a home for wayward items.  Insulation was unheard of in the space and the thought of use of the attic in summer and winter, unheard of. My parents wanted a new bedroom in this space and wanted to make it useable. Young Construction came in and thoroughly examined the space and reviewed options available to us. What once was a dumping ground turned into an incredible 3rd floor bedroom.  The final result was a vast improvement over what was originally envisioned. "Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

"This is the 2nd time I have used VantagePoint Exteriors to install windows for me.  First time was in a condominium and from an Angie's Big Deal.  Loved the windows and they did a good job so used them again when I bought a house.  I gave a B on price but they are competitive with other companies.  Double hung, double paned windows are just plain expensive.  The windows are awesome and are Heartland windows.  But windows are only as good as they are installed.  My crew (Willy, Justin, and Anthony) were truly superior. I was there the entire time and I know they went above and beyond. I had a beautiful bay window put in where I had a triple window.  It is unbelievably good looking and they had to do extra work because of how heavy it was.  Built knee braces and insulated and trimmed it out in the interior because it needed wider trim. Truly did an great job. Justin and Anthony are hard working, polite, young men. Willy knows everything there is about installing windows (and is a joker too!). It did take almost 2 months for my windows to come in after being ordered but that's just how it is.  I'm sure the window company (in the good ole USA, Iowa) is busy because they truly make a great product. VantagePoint now does siding also which they did not do when I had my first windows installed. They are much busier this time around as it is a husband-wife team but they want to do right by their customers.  You may have to ask for something or remind them of something that needs done but it will get done.  They will be back at my house this fall to finish up my last 8 windows.
