"We've used B&R for a number of projects. He's highly skilled, creative, honest, and dependable. A bathroom remodel was the most extensive project. I'm listing it's details below to show the extent of Brandon's work and capabilities. It involved taking out a tub and constructing a walk-in shower with a seat, along with removing a vanity and replacing it with two smaller ones, medicine cabinets for each, lighting, a new toilet, and a fan/heater combo in the ceiling. It also involved removing existing tile, and extensive tile installation in the shower, on bathroom walls, and the bathroom floor. Brandon is especially gifted in his tile working ability. He also remodeled a bedroom for us into an art studio, and several smaller projects."

"Terrible customer service and deck repair. The deck is not up to code and had multiple people trip and fall. We sent multiple emails and phone calls to discuss options and never received any form of communication. We sent a letter to the BBB and a lawyer. Do not use this company for repairs."

"Before the build, they really did their homework. I was introduced to several of the subs and they met me on site several times. I could really trust that their bid was going to be accurate with no surprises. I cannot say the same for the other contractors I contacted. Once work began, they were very fast and kept to a tight schedule. Even when some trusses were damaged from a freak wind storm, the damage was corrected with a minimal delay. I would recommend them for any construction or renovation job. "

We have been fixing things ever since, including but far from limited to six leaks, replacement of one ac/ furnace, They take no responsibility and won?t speak with me. We also discovered that many our appliances including stove and fridge were purchased at a scratch and dent store. They never mentioned this to us. We discovered it when dealing with issues with both fridge and stove. Currently having stucco repair work done. Just saying? they built the house next-door at the same time and the results have been pretty much the same. All I can say, if for some reason you choose Hickock Homes, negotiate your contract very carefully, also be sure you understand the limitations on the so called home warranty. during the build tRay to stay on top of things as much as possible. "Terrible. Unfortunately, the terms of the contract weren’t fulfilled and we are left finishing a large portion of the remodel and addition. Although we hired Mountain Construction to build an addition and remodel our retirement home and ~93% of funds were provided to Mountain Construction, we were left with ~35%-40% of the overall construction not completed. I would not use nor recommend Mountain Construction for any project one might be considering."
