It was absolutely great and they did a great job. I'm very pleased with the service. They were great to work with and it was phenomenal. They were super friendly and overall I'm very pleased with all the effort.

The owner and staff at Brunner's were amazing! They were communicative, showed up when they said they would, they were friendly and honest about the amount of time the deck would take and they took care of all the clean up afterward! The Brunner staff worked hard and the deck and screened in porch are great. I thought that deck skirting/wrap was included in the bid because that is what it said in the bid that I signed. I found out later that it meant something else. I just recommend going through each line item in the bid with Brunner before agreeing to the bid. Also I had an issue with the subcontracted roofer’s final payment request.

Excellent! The carpenters arrived on time, every day, and work steadily throughout the day. The quality of the work is wonderful. The entire team is very efficient. Bruners was great to work from estimate, as we arranged to get permission from our HOA for a polyboard deck, to staying in contact during the process, to work completerion. They even built me a box to store my propane tanks on the deck. Some touch up work is needed after the weather turns warm in 2019.

They did an excellent job. They did a catio and used cedar wood to make a top out of it. It turned out excellent and my cats love it. I would definitely hire them again and I would highly recommend them.

It went really pretty smoothly. The whole project was completed within a week. There was a property line clearance that needed to be considered and a lower patio doorway that needed to be accommodated with deck design adjustments done in the moment and with our involvement to solve the issues perfectly. For weeks after the job was done, we had neighbors asking who did our deck, since it is easily seen from the road that runs near the house. It turned out great and we're very happy! The deck on the house we purchased was over 10 years old and in bad shape. I needed someone to remove the old deck and replace it with a new cedar deck. I talked to several home owners in our area that had new decks and Brunner’s was one that was recommended. Their quote was competitive, but the quality of their work was the primary reason for choosing Brunner’s. Lawrence understood what we wanted and offered his suggestions. I had several requests that were not their normal way of working but he was willing to change their process to keep us happy. Brandon and the crew were great to work with. All were highly skilled and paid attention to the detail and quality of their work. The project took only tree days and after the clean up the only thing that was left behind was a beautiful new quality deck. Everything went extremely well. Lawrence was great at communication and responded promptly to any email, text or phone call I made to him. Terms of the contract were explained and written out so there were no discrepancies. His crew was on time and very courteous and pleasant to talk to. The deck came out looking great and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I initially contacted about 5 companies for a quote to remove and replace our deck. After meeting with Lawrence, reading all the positive reviews on Angie's List, we chose Brunner's for the job. We had to wait about a month before they could come out but it was worth the wait. Lawrence called to confirm they could start about a week early and the guys showed up at 7:30 a.m. on Monday morning. They were on time every morning and worked into the afternoon - they completed the job in about 4 days. The site was cleaned up after they were done, the dumpster was picked up quickly upon completion, and remaining supplies picked up by the lumber company. We had a few questions after the job was complete and Lawrence was quick to come back out and meet with us. I would highly recommend Brunner's Decks!

The Brunner's team working on our project was exemplary. Lawrence Banks, the sales rep that estimated the work and developed the proposal, is a lot more like an Owner who stayed closely involved from start to finish. The work team was typically a 6 person team of two work crews, and they continually were onsite well before starting time, worked hard throughout the day, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. All six workers would attack the project with very little talk and direction required, they clearly knew what they were doing and showed real teamwork the way they worked together. Lawrence came onsite nearly every day to provide oversight and quality control. Brunner's handled all materials, disposal and county inspection coordination, which always went like clockwork. Construction materials were always delivered before being needed. If you want a team that knows how to work together, cares about their craftsmanship, and really knocks out the project, then my wife and I can strongly recommend Brunners Quality Decks, Inc. Dion was our main work crew foreman, with Brandon also providing onsite supervision. Lawrence worked with us on a couple changes or add-ons, and was very fair in pricing add-ons, really made us feel like we were in a win-win situation. Our project was over $25K. The new deck used Dekorator composite decking together with Fortress aluminum handrail. The existing porch was rescreened with Screen-Eze screen

The team was punctual, friendly, courteous. Their workmen ship was outstanding and they are very skilled and you can tell that they take pride in their quality of work. The work site was cleaned up daily and the only break that they took was lunch. Wonderful company and staff to do business with.

We needed a complete deck replacement. Brunners gave us a fair quote and did an outstanding job. Their crews were curteous and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and obviously take pride in their work. Our new deck is beautiful.

To put it simply, the Brunner's crew knocked it out of the park. From the beginning, my contact Lawrence (foreman/GC) was a trusted expert. He helped guide the process through the planning phase; he wisely talked me out of enclosing our existing deck and into building a new screened porch from the ground up. He was a great resource to have in the mix as an architect and civil engineers drew up plans. Lawrence made sure the space wasn't overbuilt which preserved aesthetics and reduced building costs. He also added great suggestions to elevate the look of our deck from how the piers attach to the concrete, to wrapping otherwise-exposed pine in cedar for a consistent look. Once plans were approved, Lawrence went the extra mile, literally, going to the architect's office to pick them up and taking them to the City of Leawood for our permit. After the permit was issued, the Brunner's crew was all over it. They demolished our old deck in an afternoon. Then, after the new patio was poured and set (separate provider) they were off and running. While the weather was decent when they first started the project, it quickly turned bitterly cold. I told them we weren't in a hurry and they could wait out the weather, but they were out there every December morning before 8am working full days even as temps dropped into single digits. The workmen were fast and professional, left no mess, and they did an outstanding job. Brunner's also contracted a roofer (Jacob) for this project whose work was on the same incredible high level as their own crew. Now that the construction is complete I couldn't be happier. As soon as it warms up, we'll be living out there!
