We are a locally-owned small business that has been doing mudjacking since 2017. Mudjacking is ALL that we do, not an add-on to several other services, which allows us to do it very well. Asphalt is made of aggregate materials (sand, rocks, and gravel) and bitumen, a viscous, petroleum-based, waterproof substance. These materials are mixed together at extremely high temperatures to form asphalt.

In general, crack fillers last for about two years on average. That timeline can be shorter if you have extremely harsh winters or longer if you live in a mild climate. Luckily, this product is pretty affordable at the hardware store (about $10 to $30) and easy to DIY, so redoing it every few years shouldn’t be too much of a hassle.

If anything, you may spray the sealant and go over the surface again with a squeegee to ensure proper coating.
