"Just outstanding! Peak Structural came out to install a french drain, sump pump, insulation and encapsulation in my crawlspace to deal with water / pest issues. It came out so beautiful. They sent a team of 3 installers for 2 days to get it all installed and setup. You can check it out on YouTube at: [*** Link removed ***] The team showed up on time, worked hard and delivered an incredible solution for my crawlspace problem. I am so glad I picked them for my project! Well done Peak Structural!"

"Mr. Meyer called me the first day of my request to have my septic system looked at and we made a appointment a couple of days later for him to come out. He knew right away what was wrong and what would fix the problem. We agreed on the cost and when he could do the job. He called me the day before the job to let me what time he would arrive that morning. He was right on time and got right to work. He completed the installations of the laterals and had my septic tank back to working the way it should. I would recommend him to anyone that has septic problems. He does good work and the cost to do the work was lower than the first two estimates that I had received. Thank you Mr.Meyers"

"Great service! Every drain in my house was backing up and draining out of shower. The young man who came out was a pleasure to work with, explained everything before and while he was doing it, and answered every question. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in the future."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Outswing doors are more popular for exterior doors as they offer more room for moving items in and out of a home. And because the hinges are on the outside of the door, they’re more secure against potential break-ins. But, outswing doors are more susceptible to the elements and are more expensive. Comparing inswing vs. outswing doors depends on your budget, needs, and overall preference.

Some storm doors might need two closers, depending on the weather conditions in the area. For example, if it’s particularly windy where you live, installing two storm door closers (instead of one) can prevent your door from slamming shut when it’s propped open. You can place one at the top of your door and another at the bottom.

The difference between a right-hand and left-hand storm door is where the handle is located. When looking at the door from the outside of your home, a right-hand storm door will have the handle on the right-hand side, while a left-hand storm door will have the handle on the left. Your storm door handle will be on the same side as your front door handle.

Storm doors aren’t necessarily outdated. In fact, there are many benefits to installing a storm door, including improving your home’s energy efficiency, keeping pests out of your house, and protecting your home against the elements. However, storm doors aren’t great if you live in an area with high humidity because the door can trap heat and potentially damage your front door.

If you’re installing hurricane ties, consider other storm-proofing projects. You could call a window pro to install storm windows, get in touch with a door installer to add storm doors, or just ask your hurricane tie installer what other projects they’d recommend you get done at the same time.
