"Very friendly and professional. Went way above and beyond what I was expecting them to do. They climbed up into my attic (which doesn't have easy access) and were able to pull out a miracle and get power above my fireplace. I high recommend them to anyone who needs their TV's mounted!"

"John came out to install a single window. Other contractors through home advisor came out and wouldn't follow up because the job was too small. John came out, it was easy to set an appointment with him. He arrived on time and ended up giving me a timely quote and honest timeline on when the work could be done since I had a special order window. Once the window arrived he put it in the following day. Great communication. Will recommended!"

"CoreCare has been a huge help with maintaining our home. They’ve done everything from patching walls and drywall repair to painting, minor electrical work, plumbing fixture repairs, toilet and sink repairs, yard work, and cleanup. We’ve always appreciated the hard work, reliability, and willingness to help with a variety of projects. It’s nice to have someone dependable that genuinely cares about the quality of their work. Highly recommend!"

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Reinforcing techniques and heavy-duty mounts are used to ensure stability and safety.

Yes, many services include wall mounting for TVs or projectors. Confirm with your installer.

The VESA mounting standard refers to the layout of the mounting holes on the back of all televisions that follow the standard. These holes appear in the same place on all TVs of a certain size. This allows the mounting bracket and hardware manufacturers to build the brackets to fit the VESA standard. Ideally, if everyone follows the VESA standard, any brand of TV should fit any brand of mounting bracket, as long as the sizes match up correctly.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.
